A very special car! No headrest for the driver and panel for parking heater under BEHR air condition. I have a 1972 one (bought by my father) in also dark blue metallic with black leather interior, alloy rims and AMG tuning II (very, very rare). Panel for parking heater is inside glove compartment. Motor is AMG II with 320 HP (same displacement, torque 540 at 3,500 / 320 HP at 4,750 - compression 9.9 instead of 9.0). At that time „tuning“ did not have many opportunities and every HP was very expensive.
Ever since I was in high school, 50 plus yrs ago this has been my ultimate "dream car". Would have loved back then, in the height of the muscle car era, to be the rich kid in class & sometimes dad let's you take the Mercedes to school! 😎

It's mentioned, (and shown) in the video. It has an auxiliary heater. I assume gasoline fired which evidently can be used for heat without running the engine. It apparently vents through the 3rd "exhaust".
Stimmt! Aber das hier ist eine Nachrüstung mit (zu viel) Aufwand. In meinem 1972er ist es im Motorraum mit einer bis zu 24 Stunden einstellbaren Einschaltung, Bedienung über optisch sehr ähnliche Bedieneinheit im Handschuhfach. Es gibt keine Abgasführung über ein drittes Auspuffrohr nach hinten, sondern mit einem „Stummel“ nach unten. Außerdem halte ich die Montage im Kofferraum (wie hier) für unnötig gefährlich, weil sehr nahe am Tank. Und es macht wenig Sinn, im Kofferraum warme Luft zu erzeugen, die dann nach vorn zur Lüftung transportiert werden muss.

Grauenhafte Spaltmaße. Türen, Kotflügel, da stimmt so gut wie gar nix. 2-3000 Euro mehr bei einer guten Werkstatt, dann wäre ein gutes Auto daraus geworden.
