I've had my 208 for 4 years and had loads of challenges with the roof mechanism over those years. Quite often what I do in this situation is raise and lower the rear head rests/roll bars. This clamps the roof shut, opens the boot and tests that the hydraulic pump is working.
I just tryed your suggestion.....it must of helped. But the main issue was I had to hold up the front section of roof so the micro switches were all free.....then I let go at the right point and all was ok..roof opened.
Hi, since yesterday the convertible top of my CLK does not work anymore. I had pushed a laundry basket probably too far in the trunk. Now the flap stands vertically in the air on the trunk. Do you have any idea how I can solve the problem? Because you can hear the click of the electronics, but nothing moves anymore.
It's behind the parking sensor screen, offset to the right passenger. Between the backseat and the carpet. There's a stud where the wrench fits and then you push on the wrench to close. Part of the steps of manually closing the top.
What you need is this guy in the trunk at all times !! I cannot find any of these lock points with that pissing spanner. I quit on owning a cabriolet.....nothing but headaches and anger for me!!~~!~~
