What do you get when you trade your hulk scrap to a painboy? Ghaz. It was UR-025 that was the voice of Gork and Mork. After being found on a space hulk and traded for scrap. Being installed in a new body. UR-025 runs its "kill all humans" program. Getting some xenos driver updates. Then successfully booting its "kill all umez" program. Then went to avenge its fallen A.I. brothers...

Ghazghkull remains one of my best contenders for a "united" front against the Tyranid threat. Think less a unified CareBear Stare, and more 7 different species (who normally hate each other) screaming "get off my lawn!" at the same time. Outside the normal Scrap urges, he knows the best fight in 20,000,000 years is upon him and he can't have a greater urge to battle than this, as he already respects some "humie's" ability to fight, who will have to ignore him to save their own skins... There is no "Waaaagh" if everyone else is literally dead and not coming back, aka there is no "Great Game" if all the pawns are digested first... Of all people Abaddon figured this out first.... As a side note, I personally believe the Cicatrix Maledictum was created just to "slow down" the Tyranids as Chaos is the "best" opponent to face them outside the Necrons who are a close second, both due to the lack of bio-matter won from winning, and outside of their own urges to wipe out all biological life, gee I wonder why they chose "now" to wake up. To further this, I believe the Emperor intentionally put the Galaxy and its warp into a permanent war footing 10,000 years ago, to "train" us to face the foe that drove the Old One's into literal hiding 60 million years ago..... (to give us more time) There is no super weapon to kill them all at once, ALMOST no supply line to cut that doesn't also cripple us, no back lines to hinder, along with no overwhelming numbers to stem their offensive thrust.... We needed to MASTER attrition based warfare to even stand a chance of surviving, and nothing does that quite like our own imagination given horrific form. And the Krork do this oh so well. It is not an eloquent solution, however options are also so very lacking in this regard....

They are born with ingrained knowledge for certain tasks, like mech boys and pain boys. Gork and Mork are likely a part of the knowledge programed into every ork, or they simply spread by the power of waaa, since it is a shared psychic power of belief across the whole species. Also Gork and Mork are actually real deities that exist in the warp, so they could even just be a part of an ork's soul. Ultimately, it's 40k and it's probably better to not worry about the specifics and just go with it.
