Ojibwa people have so much to teach our whole country. I pray we all learn and find new more peaceful ways and realize that greed is a DEAD END for all of us.....
Bagone giizhig (the younger) really screwed a lot of his people over honestly. Mostly had his own interests in mind while giving his people little, sadly he was taken advantage of often by many of the traders which was pretty commonplace at the time while dealing with the tribes. On the flip side of the coin, he was one of the last figures standing in the way of the corrupt white/mixed traders interests in basically pushing forward selling out the rest of what the Anishinaabeg had left. Sadly he was assassinated for it like many who stand up to the corrupt forces here. Just sad what’s been done to them seriously but always gives hope knowing the tribes are still alive and well. Gichi miigwetch miinwaa for this. This zhaaganaash is always happy to learn and carry the knowledge forward.
