A routine test of 2 NS AC44c6M with an unusual occurence when it waits for a passing CSX train. Prior to this the test set was pretty fast in returning on the test track! Plus NS 4803 was ready for NS to pick it up! April 9 2024

Hey thanks so much! It was really great meeting you today! It’s awesome to have someone that documents GE/Wabtec as much as you do, and I really enjoy all the videos and updates! Thanks a lot for all the info and help over time! Glad we were able to get HL002 today, that was a great highlight! I’m sure we’ll be back out to the test track soon enough, especially over the summer when the FLXDrive tests begin! Would also like to come back up for a BL20 test potentially. Very interesting stuff all around!

Stupid roof lights. Wabtec needs to make NS use nose head lights.

NS won’t use nose headlights, plus wabtec can’t make NS use nose headlights, it’s Norfolk southern’s choice to have nose headlights or roof lights and they choose roof lights.
