Me again. The big blue K. You just taught me something else. As you said, wacky uses an exposed hook. Dragging it across a submerged log is asking, in my case begging, for trouble. What you eluded to was use of a wacky rig in a flipping technique. I just found a way to fish a downed tree in my favorite pond. I will get on the tree, then jig fish the worm in amongst the labyrinth of limbs. Lift, relax, let it fall. Worth a try. Thanks GID. 😊

Thanks for watching and the comment. Baitcast reel. Using the reel brake adjustment to get the right tension so I don't get a ton of bird nests. I would prefer spinning reel but typically I only take two reels and both are baitcast. Years ago it was only spinning reel for weightless worms. Started to go back to spinning reel because it is so much better. 3/0 worm hook and use Berkley 7 in power worm. Thanks again for the comment
