Great journalism sir. As an 80 year old I can say that good journalists are a rarity.

What a story! I blew away by all of the sinister details about Yevgeny Prigozhin and his surroundings. You once again managed to tell a must-be-told story giving all of the details that shaped a horrific tragedy. Thank you Zack for sharing such a story in a way we can see the big picture

I have often wondered how Prigozhin, a low level Soviet criminal, managed to get into Putin's orbit. Thank you for filling in that part of the story.

Just want to add that Wagner didn’t live any more when Hitler lived. Hitler and the Nazis misused Wagner’s compositions for their purposes. However, Wagner already had antisemitic thoughts, he wrote an essay “Das Judentum in der Musik”. Good video, Zakhar!

Russian citizens should know much more about Mr. Prigoshin and the dangerous and brutal Wagner Group, why the name Wagner, that they aren't the excellent troop where servicemen earn much money, get modern weapons and uniforms, social benefits, health insurances etc. Russian citizens should know that their sons, fathers, husbands, brothers, friends, that everybody who joins the Wagner Group will end as Zombie or as ground meat. This is an amazing and eye-opening video. You put a lot of work into this video, Zack. Good job! I like most Americans don't know much at all about Prigozhin. We hear his name every now and then, and I think many Americans know he heads the Wagner Group. But that's about it. Prigozhin would be nobody without Putin's approval. Many dictators (like Hitler) use criminals and murderers in the police and army, because these guys have no problem with killing and torturing people. Some even enjoy it. I think one lesson the world is learning from this war in Ukraine is dictators like Putin should never be allowed to accumulate total power. These days such men endanger the entire world, because they have nukes. The day will come when this war will end, and hopefully by then Putin and his oligarchs will have been removed from power. But the problem isn't over. Xi Jinping of China has been accumulating power like Putin, and he continues to build his army and navy and more nuclear weapons. It won't be long before he poses a dangerous threat to the world, because, again, people allow one man to accumulate total power. I hope people worldwide realize that they should never let this happen. Many years ago Lord Acton of Britain stated: "Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Please keep in mind that Stalin's USSR and Hitler's Germany were ideologically compatible and were allied at the start of WW2. Nazis are hated in Russia as betrayers, not for being morally bad. Stalin was using Hitler as a tool to weaken Europe, just as he later used Mao as a tool to add Southeast Asia to his empire. When the Western Allies cut off Hitler's oil coming from the Mediterranean, Hitler knew he was dependent solely upon Stalin's supplies, and he didn't trust Stalin, so he attacked Russia to secure his oil supply. Later, Mao also resisted Stalin, refusing to be his pet. In fact, Xi is likely to turn Putin's Russia into China's pet, because Putin was egged into an unnecessary war with NATO, a war in which the only victor will be China.

Latest news: Prigożin called to Putin on announcing the end of "special military operation" and presenting it to the Russian public as great success. No idea what's on the guy's mind, might be someting about the conflict between Wagner and the military. By the way, it's factory of trolls, not fabric. A very common mistake as it's a typical false friend, fabric in English means cloth or textile, but in many languages there is a similar word, such as Polish fabryka or Russian fabrika (i thought it's zavod in Russian, but Google translated it as fabrika) Keep doing the great job and stay safe Zack.

Thank you Zack for your unique insights! I learned many things that shocked me today. I have yet seen a comprehensive biography of Prigozhin from major media. The irony is that PMC Wagner was created to give Russian government plausible deniablity but since later last year they were like "f*** it, why bother hiding" and rumours have been saying that Prigozhin has the ambition of replacing Putin. Do you think such rumours are reasonable? Keep up the great work!!

So grown up and always been a great news caster. You need to pass your videos to all NATO news agencies and see if they will take you on. If you get electronic notice you can get political asylum somewhere. You need to take your life in your hands and get a life career going now while you are young. ❤
