This waiata is a love song and refers to the man dreaming of his wahine and then he is awakes disappointed to find it was just a dream. My uncle made our college kapahaka practice and perform this song back in 1991. his eldest daughter was and still performs with Waka Huia. I would love to see the group do this waiata poi again.

OMIGOD!!! This has made me cry so much!!!! THIS WAS ONE OF MY MOST FAVOURITE POI's when I was little. I used to watch this over and over. I even learnt the poi off by heart. I have looked for this song for so long. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! xxxxxx
