Adam Wainwright kicked off his final weekend with a late pinch-hit at-bat: "I haven't had that in so long. The crowd was going crazy. ... It was an unbelievable feeling. I wish we would've won the game honestly, but personally besides that, it was pretty awesome."

Greatest pitcher of all time? I guess you never heard of Randy Johnson, Bob Gibson, Greg Maddox, Tom Seaver, Sandy Kofax, Steve Carlton, Nolan Ryan, etc? But this is what one would expect from an idiot who kept predicting the Cardinals “would shock the world and win its 12th. Championship in 2023”.

Riddle me this Batman. He's hurt and can't pitch.....But Lolly puts him in for a at bat? So either he was scared he'd lose his last game or it was a publicity stunt like this entire season has been? Gimmick phones, Ukuleles and what not. Dimitt and Mozo thought it was going to be another Albert swan song for tickets and it turned into the most hollow 200 wins ever. From the ' "Cardinal Way" to "Wainopaloza". Maybe next year they'll concentrate on pitching, coaching, fundamentals, outfielders and a damn pitching coach?
