Corruption, dopping, unjust... This sport is no longer getting my support until there is a significant change.

For those who think she deserved that score… 【1】those edge attention!, q and < calls were quite strict, which is fine, but the judge wasn’t consistent to the other skaters such as Kamila, Anna and Kaori. Did Anna REALLY have clear edge for lutz and flip?lol 【2】her PCS was underscored. Sasha unfortunately doesn’t have really good skating skills and failed her 3A but still got better PCS than Wakaba. How is that even possible lol She landed that big clean 3A. And she performed her program without major mistakes such as a step out or a fall. That means she should get high perfomance score. Her skating skills are much better than Sasha. The judge is not consistent. NEVER CONSISTENT ENOUGH. That’s the problem here. I’m not saying her score alone should be higher. If her score remains that score, some other skaters’ scores should be lower. If those other skaters’ scores stay the same, Wakaba should have received a little higher score.

likely because the judges need to make fall room for the Russian skaters incase they buckle to the pressure (kamila) so they can still be placed above the skaters they deem as lesser (wakaba). Seriously though i find it inconceivable that kamila didn't land A SINGLE ultra C element and they still ranked her higher than wakaba with 2 successful triples. If ISU is going to make it all about jumping then don't tell me its the "artistry and performance" Wakaba deserves 4th

While I'm not picking sides, it can all depend on the GOE of her other elements - as my coach always told me sometimes is GOE that wins not a clean program. Possible explanation - during the team event - even with just the 2a, the GOE of her other elements were massively higher than in the Short Program, making the 3a not add up. Let's test this: (I do not know the exact jumps she did fyi) Jump pass 1 - 3Lz - 5.9/ 3Fl+3T - 9.5/ 2A - 3.3/ L4 Layback - 2.7/ 4FCSp - 3.2/ 4CCoSp - 3.5/ 4StSq - 3.9/ ChSq - 3.0 | that adds up to 35 (No GOE added) replace 2A with 3A for the Short and it would add up to 39.7 (No GOE added) - Now, it would have to be a sublime performance but she could simply get higher GOE on the elements in the Team than the Short and easily add past 39.7+(GOE) that would be the technical score in the Short. AS WELL, let us also take into account the artistry/slash component score!!! if she simple skated better with more passion, emotion, and artistry in the team event than in the short; that could easily add an extra point difference between the scores. Now... I am in no way saying the ISU doesn't have its problems but I think it is definitely plausible that Wakaba simply skated better in the Team Event, even with just a 2a also, I do take into account that GOE is subjective to the judges and they do tend to let a lot of things.... s.l.i.d.e.... 😵‍💫-- but, as fun as it is, pushing the c.o.r.r.u.p.t.i.o.n button to early is faulty-- just food for that :))) - (side note... 4A should be valued at 15 not 12 😓🧐🫠)

at some point she was underscored and russians are always overscored getting the Eteri bonus but Wakaba fell and unstable!I guess when russians falls, it still gets the score since it's a higher level of jumps. I say Kaori is OGM and Wakaba is silver and You young!

I never understood why Kamila and Sasha placed above her despite Kamila stepping out and Sasha falling on their respective triple axels. Both of them should've been out of the top 6 by then, with Anna being the only one in medal striking distance

I know nothing about how figure skating scoring works, but to my untrained eyes, kamila valieva is clearly a very special talent and is so above the rest, its very effortless for her and nobody comes close. anna scherbakova is a distant second place and then there are the rest. Again, i know absolutely nothing about figure skating and how the scoring works.

One big mistake she had done - NOT BEING RUSSIAN. We all know that's the truth.

she had underrotations on both her combo and her 3F, which you can see on slo mo replay, leading to TES 1 point lower than in team event. PCS roughly the same. She might be underscored but making comparison with team event is no way a solid argument for it. Don't be misleading

Have you looked at the protocols at all? I think not if you want to be giving the judges glasses. She had mistakes in both of the other jump elements that cost her 6 points relative to the team event where those jumping passes were clean.

Each Olimpics ends with another "robbed" champion. Come on! Judging at these games was fair enough.

Why not show WHY she scored lower? She had 3 issues on other elements in the SP. You can't pretend only Triple Axel matters and expect to understand the scoring. All that being said, she shouldn't have to be competing against dopers. She really should have been the sliver medalist with Kaori winning the gold, if this event were truly clean, and not just "pass the test" clean. Either way, very poor representation of why the judging was bad. I can't respect one who wishes to spread misinformation, rather than actually compare element by element.

I disagree, the triple axel isn't the only element in a program. Her 3T was < and her triple flip was ! and q. If any thing her components were underscored and the skaters above her were overscored. With appropriate scoring she would just go up above Sasha but that's it. Why are people being so dramatic?

She didn't get robbed, she's just not a great skater and even worse as an artist, she makes cheesy faces while skating to boring cheesy music, that's not artistry, making funny faces does not equal artistry. Какое ошибочное мнение создалось в мире фигурного катания . Оказывается , если ты чисто прыгнул триксель , ты уже автоматом победитель . Но ведь это не за прыжки ты получаешь награду , а в целом за всю программу . Тогда давайте еще учитывать высоту прыжка , скорость крутки и дальность приземления . Вот вам в сумме кто выше , дальше , быстрее , плюс дополнительный балл за возраст и стаж . 😆
