OMG best freakin video on this I have found! Makes perfect sense cause I was about to look up a video on why I wake in the middle of the night hungry! Damn. I don’t know how much healthier to eat tho. Maybe I need more carbs? I am 43 and haven’t gone through the change yet so I know it’s not that. I eat an all organic diet, nothing processed. Meat, veg, fruits, nuts, some carbs as in potatoes, sometimes rice. Try to stay away from bread although I have a sourdough started I make bread from scratch occasionally. I don’t eat it very much. I also make homemade kefir and fermented purple sauerkraut for good probiotics. Don’t know how else I can control my blood sugar. I am continually waking every night tho and it’s friggin debilitating! 😣😩
First video that really makes sense, and one of the reasons why having a simple snack shortly before going to sleep helps me sleep better, have less nocturia. Stress does make sleep more difficult.
How old are you? Estriol (ovestin) also helps with nocturia considerably. I don’t have menopause but some pituitary disorder (I think) and have been using the cream.
@@deborahwilson6970All those carbs cause insulin resistance over time and can even develop type II diabetes. Which can be reversed by doing keto/low carb/high fat/carnivore, btw! There’s a lady doctor on here with a lecture about this, she said she has to ignore the official narrative from the diabetes association as their advice is harmful. Watch Nina Teicholz if you’re afraid of fat. And Weston Price.
Finally. I found a video that is explaining what I am going through. I’ve been experiencing this problem for years and it’s very frustrating when I try to Google a solution and it just tells me to stop drinking water before bed . This started happening to me after I worked night shift for a couple of years. I would come home from work early in the morning and go to sleep, but I could never sleep past noon. I would wake up Wide awake having to pee extremely bad at noon. I felt like I wouldn’t even make it to the bathroom. I thought my body would go back to normal once I went back to dayshift, but that was six years ago and I wake up pretty much every night Exactly 5 hours after I fall asleep to pee. On top of that it’s very difficult for me to fall back to sleep, it takes at least two hours. It’s extremely frustrating because I’m losing two hours of my life every night Just trying to fall back to sleep. I suspected it was due to a surge a of stress hormones but I don’t know how to fix it. I do everything that is suggested I don’t drink any caffeine, I don’t drink alcohol, I eat a very healthy, balanced diet, I exercise earlier in the day. I want my life back but I don’t know what to do. I do get hypoglycemic during the day so that can be it. I’m going to try to not eat 4 hours before bed…but normally I have a hard time falling asleep if I’m hungry so idk if that will work.
investigate blood sugar instability with a cgm - Levels is the one i like bit.ly/levels-CGM (affiliate link)... you can learn a lot about your blood sugar that way. Also check out glucose goddess on instagram
Yeah that happened to me before too. I got up at 3am while my family was sleeping and I couldn’t even sleep so I decided to go on my phone and watch some videos😂. That happens to me sometimes though
Nah me is just anxiety, I wasn't even feeling too accelerated when I woke up, the thing is that I have health anxiety and I instantly thought something was wrong and that made me accelerated, this is hard
Man I never knew waking up between 3-5am was during to blood sugar instability. It’s been happening for so long now, I just always thought it was for work.
Since half a year or so I keeep waking up between 2:30-3am bc I need to pee and then I just cannot get back to sleep. I went to sleep at 9pm earlier, actually feeling tired, but still awake now for over an hour and it’s 4am now. And I feel hungry :( No doubt my blood sugar and hormones are messes up. Trying to find ways to fix it. Wonder if a Glucose Monitor will help
I have this problem for 5 years. Wake up everyday at 330am. I go to bed 11-12 My last meal is ris chicken and vegetables. My diet is in place. For me to sleep again I need bread with jam after 10-15 I sleep again
I’m curious to know how soon before bed to maybe have something to eat. A lot of other health advice is to not eat a few hours before bed. Also weirdly I have found eating a lot of potato I seem to sleep better which is apparently good for serotonin.
Could be any number of things. Definitely look into it being a blood sugar/diabetes or pre-diabetic issue. Sleep apnea. Poor diet. Drugs/Alcohol. Circadian rhythm off it's balance. Good video all things considered.
I do all this .. walk 5miles a day, heavyvweight training 3x a week ,, good diet but still suffer from sleep issues.. id do anything to get juat 4hrs of undisturbed sleep 😅😢😊
This is what’s happening to me. Been suffering from waking up between 3-5am every night for the past few years. I suddenly feel an adrenaline rush after I wake up which makes it difficult to wake up. Will get a blood sugar measuring device today. Can you recommend more detailed options to change this? Does this mean someone is diabetic?
@@vincentolivieri4468 no it wasn’t diabetes. I was able to improve my sleep a lot but still not 100%. I think there are a few things that happen to men. Stress - I learned relaxation techniques which helped a lot Heavy metal toxicity Less processed food/meat Magnesium, CBD, valerian root, etc also help
I am in my Ramadan now and it hits me quite bad these 12 days.. sleeps at 10pm wakes up between 2 3am and I can’t seem to fall asleep back. By 6am I would have to be up for work. It’s tiring me out though and I can’t seem to squeeze a workout time due to the depleted energy. Wonder if the 12 hours fasting is making my sugar level haywire.
For me my theory personally, everytime i wake up in the middle of the night i always think theres a reason im awake like certain events happening and that did happend for me but thats my opinion lmk what u think.
I can't eat 3hrs before sleep I am so used to having dinner just before sleep with a protien bar I always wake up at 5:30-6 with just 4hrs of sleep it's happening since a year I have a bread and Omelette after waking up and then do nothing for more 3hrs and rush to work if there is something I can get to get my 7hrs of continues sleep back I'll pay a million bucks i miss it I'm so stressed coz of this daily waking. Hope someone helps me and give my remedy.
I just got so scared it’s currently 2:10 and so I woke up, and the bathroom light was on. And I tried going back to sleep but it didn’t work. And then I started to get like really hungry, and then I went to turn off the light. And then I started shaking. Like everything was shaking. I wasn’t having a seizure or anything, it was just I was shaking so much. And then I started watching videos, and then it went away.
I woke up in the middle of night saying that I'm going to the bathroom, stood up, walked few steps, wore my cap and came back to bed and answered my friend that I didn't want to pee and forgot why I woke up.
Is ther any way to go back to sleep if that happens? Well, I'm awake right now and not able to sleep back. So I çame here on youtube because I want to sleep again
@@wellnessdaddy yeah but it wasn’t a problem on IF+Keto during the 3 months prior.. and others on carnivore can do fine.. so it must be something I’m doing.. I’ll try to eat a bit more fat before bed..
What do I do for the past 2weeks I go sleep around 9 bc I wake up 7 and I wake up every 3 hours no matter how tired I am I manage to fall back asleep but when it gets to around 5-6 I’m up
