Her name is Hannah. She's a walking, talking, potty-trained little person now. I can't believe that she was a helpless tiny baby just two years ago. Well, we get to start the adventure again in October!
To me that was just gentle caressing and a nice way to bond with our new baby. Touch is very important for infant development, p hysically and emotionally. People just need to observe how their baby responds and adjust the way they touch accordingly. Lots of babies and toddlers love being tickled. Hannah, once she was old enough to talk, often asked to be tickled.
@onidodoonimoimoi Thanks very much for your nice comment. It's amazing to think that now, and year and a half later, she's running around and talking. Babyhood sure flies by.
awwww she is sooo adorable. my baby boy turned 15 months today. Ime and my hubby did exactly the same waking up with my boy when he was only 4/5 days old :) he used to sleep all the day. so we had to unwrap him from the swaddle and then wait for him to wake up :)
Just beautiful! But I'm wondering why young parents today tickle their babies. I hate being tickled, so I would imagine babies don't like it either. I just watched another video, and the mom kept trying to wake up baby at the same time lightly tickling him, and he was getting furious!
