Waldorf Micro Q classic synth sounds 

So true. This synth never got the attention it deserve.

@@mazziacs9880 Is there a chance to get these presets? Did you programm them with the front panel only or additional software. Im thinkin about getting the Micro Q, sounds fantastic.

MIcro Q can do a lot more in variety and unusual sounds, and also it does convincing analog emulations, but you have to work hard in programming to get there and the interface (and the bad presets too) can discourage you at first. JX3p is a very simple machine with a relatively small palette of sounds, and not that great in bass, but it sounds pure analog (althought DCO). They are very different and I love both but these days I use more the Waldorf. You should drop your JX3p only if you don't like it. Micro Q is cheap these days so you could add it to your setup and see how you like it and then decide which one have to go, or keep both.

@@mazziacs9880 Unfortunately no buy both can not. I still have alpha juno, although it does not replace jx3p, but it sounds with a similar shade. Waldorf has very nice pads and all sorts of strange sounds. Roland itself sounds cool .. you have to think carefully. Thank you for the answer.

​@@madikma3616 Well, you still have the Roland sound with the alpha juno (beautiful synth), so it could be a good choice to get a different sound with the Waldorf micro Q. Anyway the JX3p will levitate in value in the next years and this could be something to consider.

@@mazziacs9880 Yesterday I changed with a small surcharge for the omega version, we agreed with the owner of the walldorf for a month of checking. I liked the sound, before that I had only a Nova Laptop from VA synthesizers. Waldorf is much closer to my taste. The sound cannot be compared to the Roland, each in its own niche, it's cool. :-)
