it's like you're laying delirious and concussed in a dumpster outside of a chintzy Egyptian-themed casino, five margaritas and two speedballs working their way through your system.
Finally a description that's not some generic depressing shit like "bleeding out on the roof with a heroin overdose" To me their music doesn't sound depressing. Melancholy maybe but not exactly sad
Another classic that they played live at Woodstock '94. What is not commonly known about that night is that both Peterson sisters from the Bangles were in the crowd and they looked after Theodore well after the Chipmunks came off stage. Simon was being seduced by Courtney Hole at the same time whilst Alvin was trying to score from a local dealer.
It's thanks to a guy who who got shot six times in Seattle stopping a robbery with his bare hands who lived, that this mix graced my ears. It hit like a stone groove. Thanks Huckleberry, dope track!
The sound of it, the deep vocals make it sublime, exquisite, just like most of the 80's pop, good work & thanks for sharing this amazing discovery for the community.
@@twistedtrans Eh, sounds more like something off of The Pod. Pure Guava and GodWeenSatan both have a much more consistently sharp noise to them, while The Pod is distinctively murky and psychedelic.
I listened to this on my drive today for like an hour. I'm convinced the music video for this needs to be filmed in death valley. The light would pulse back and forth and a wendigo would unearth itself from the sand hunting any who pass the park at night.
For some reason when I listen to this song I imagine a music video of a gang dudes pulling off a heist, and at the end the main guy's crew tries to betray him, but he knew the whole time and he gets off scott free with the whole take.
Sludgefest is among the most wild shit I’ve ever heard. How much Heroin you gotta shoot to think let’s slow down Alvin and The Chipmunks and fuck with the distort until it’s a sludge metal album.
@@paithen7033 As I understand it, when making the original chipmunks songs the instruments and voices are recorded separately. Meaning, they record the instruments normally and then have the singers sing slowly. Then speed up the recording of the singers and play it with the normal instrument recording. For this, the singing is as recorded, but the instruments are slowed down. At least that's what I thought.
The last human child finds a town after weeks of walking through the atomic desert. He walks into town, hoping for normalcy, only to find that the government of the town is more disgusting than the mutants who inhabit said town.
