Hello hope you're ready it's a long reply and I hope it helps you and other. Before I give the detail I will tell you the glue works really well, only if you follow all the instructions. After applied, you must heat the glue until tacky, I found this especially important for this glue. You must hold the system down for 10 seconds, that's extremely important too. If you are interested why I'll explain in depth. Background _________ I developed an extreme allergy to the white glue (Ghost Bond), blisters, weeping, the lot I only found this out after a year of investigation. The manufacturers of Ghost Bond tried to say it could be the cleaning alcohol. An appointment to see the NHS dermatologist was one years wait so I did my own research and discovered a lot on the way, but I'll try and keep it relevant. Findings _____ I wanted a clue that was as chemically different from the white glue as possible so I had less chance of an allergic reaction, so I chose Extreme Hold. As you have discovered Ultra hold and Ghost Bond are acrylic polymers ( petro chemical/ plastic) extreme hold is a silicon polymer, but they are both pressure sensitive adhesives). Why you must press in place for 10 seconds_______ Pressure sensitive adhesives do not work by chemical reaction, they work by being pressed into close contact with the other surface. Look up, van der Waals force. Its adheres my inter molecular attraction, but it's an extremely weak force. Think of it , like lots of bar magnets. In order for those forces to give maximum stick, you need to bring the two surfaces as close as possible for a reasonable duration. I.e press for 10 seconds. This is also why the skin prep is so important. Why you must heat up the glue until tacky ----- Adhesives have two main properties adhesion and cohesion. Adhesion, the sicking of the two surfaces, cohesion the glue itself holding together. The glue has a solvent, in this case toluene. The solvent stops the glue being cohesive, holdings together whilst in the bottle. By heating the glue until tacky, you are getting rid of the solvent and allowing it to become cohesive, also you are putting energy into the glue so the molecules become excited, this will also increase adhesion. By just leaving it to go off on your scalp without it becoming tacky, you have allowed the adhesive to cure without coming into contact with the other surface, so it has far less chance of fully sticking. I hope all this helps, I'm not trying to be a smart arse, just sharing the knowledge. Please, if I am wrong about any of this , I welcome anyone correcting me.

It´s obvious that it won´t stick. You use half of the bottle for 2 cm².

Ghost bond platinum I’ve found works better than anything else I’ve used, Ghost Bond XL is terrible, Walker Ultra hold is terrible.

You might me making your glue layers too thick!

I hit the knee with the max sport to get it out, after I see it coming out I put it on my forehead by pressing down and squeezing the bottle

Wait till u see how hard it is to clean the extreme hold when it crystalizes on the base lol. I'm thinking apply it system and quickly attach so it doesn't dry on the base. But yeah extreme hold & it's new signature we're crap and they swindled me about $100 for them. Seems like they made it and thought even if it doesn't work good lets sell it to make money off people. Smh screw walker.

These manufacturers seriously need to design their applicators much better, walkers are not the only ones who don't design their applicators very well, then they go out their way to make it look posh and expensive when really its a lot of shite. You better off transferring the contents to another container. I don't like the walkers daft brush applicator either you get it everywhere and waste more then you use.

Million years you are in the business and you don't know that you can get Walker MaxHold Sport Brush? 🙄 anyway, Simply remove the cork from the bottle and use a cotton pad or cotton ball to apply
