I’ve got it to work. My hubby and I both have apple watches. We’re going on a cruise in July. We won’t have any internet connection or mobile connection. Will it still work

Setting up Facetime to also use Apple ID email seems to have solved it on my GF's Watch. Thanks!!!
I called apple support. They asked us to do all the things in this vid and then had us make sure we had the latest version of their software. It was sitting there ready but didn’t have an alert for it. Once my wife and I did that it all worked.
i’m having an issue with accessing my contacts on the walkie talkie app. all it shows me is some suggested contacts, but they’re totally random people that i never talk to. someone help please haha
It helped me to make the app appear but then it always tell me that the person is not available I tried every single thing and even I read the whole website that you recommended and it didn’t work But thanks for everything ❤️
Hi Ghost, Apple discovered a security and privacy bug in Walkie-Talkie, so they temporarily disabled Walkie-Talkie app for Apple Watch while they work on a fix. That means, for now, walkie-talkie won't work for anyone--even if you see the app active on your watch. Stay tuned for updates on when a fix is released--you will need to update your watchOS to get walkie-talkie active again. Hi, my Apple Watch S3 can’t download the Walkie-Talkie app. It says on app store on my watch “Requires iPhone”. And on my iPhone “This app can be downloaded only on Apple Watch”
Hi Stephany, Make sure you sign into FaceTime on your paired iPhone and enable audio calling (as well as video). Restart both devices (phone and watch) and see if Walkie-Talkie is there. If not, update your watchOS and iOS (Backup your phone first via iCloud or iTunes), then check again. Walkie-Talkie is part of watchOS 5--it's not available in all countries but is available in most. Check this list of supported countries for Walkie-Talkie: www.apple.com/watchos/feature-availability/#apps-walkie-talkie If it still isn't showing up and your country is listed as supported, contact Apple in your home country for further assistance.
Hi Eli, Make sure sign into FaceTime on your iPhone and that you can receive FaceTime Audio calls as well as video calls. Try making an audio FaceTime call--then restart your Watch and see you can get Walkie-Talkie working
@@Appletoolboxcom I don't have the walkie-talkie app on my iphone. I do not have that yellow icon. My software is updated. I search the App store and 4 apps come up for walkie-talkie for which none of them are the same as shown.
Have tried everything still doesnt work, my friend can invite me bit I cant. He can connect to me first but i cant connect to him first (Edit) I fixed it but it only works when you factory reset without keeping all your apps
Apple temporarily disabled walkie-talkie after discovering a security and privacy bug--we expect it to be back up and running with the next watchOS update. To learn more, check out this article: appletoolbox.com/apple-watch-walkie-talkie-not-working-how-to-fix/
Apple disabled walkie-talkie due to a bug--it should be fixed by the next watchOS update. Learn more here: appletoolbox.com/apple-watch-walkie-talkie-not-working-how-to-fix/
Hi William, not sure which watch face you're referring to. If you mean the TALK one, you only see this on-screen when using Walkie-Talkie. It's not a watch face
Me and my wife use the same Apple ID and everything seems to work. I did not see anything from Apple about using separate ID's. We both have separate phone and email for FaceTime but using same Apple ID under one account. Where did you get this info? Just curious.
Hi WMiller, we discovered this in testing out Walkie-Talkie in our office. When folks used the same Apple ID on two different Apple Watches, it wouldn't work (i.e. they couldn't walkie-talkie.) As soon as they changed to different Apple IDs on their watches, walkie-talkie worked! We followed up with a Senior Advisor at Apple Support and they confirmed that the Walkie-Talkie App does not work with devices that share the same Apple ID
AppleToolBox Me and my wife are using the same primary Apple ID but we have different emails were using for iMessage and FaceTime. And this seems to work fine. Are you saying we should not be using it this way? A lot of family’s use the same primary id but have different emails for each device. Other wise I would be getting all her iMessage and text. I understand that it would not work if you're using the same email but many people have one account under the same id. As long as they have separate phone# email it should work?
Hi Krista, That's the Infograph Watch Face for Series 4 Apple Watches. It's awesome and so productive. Check out this video on it specifically: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TBOL8IOV9Uw.html and this article: appletoolbox.com/2018/11/apple-watch-infograph-complications/
Mine gets stuck on the other person talking, even if they've let go of the button. So they're waiting for my response but I'm not able to hit the talk button because it tells me "X" person is still talking. Anyone else having this problem?
Turn off your Apple Watch. Wait a minute or so and then turn the watch back on--then resend the invite. It's a good idea to ask your friend(s) to do the same with their watches too! Take a look at more tips here: appletoolbox.com/2018/08/apple-watch-walkie-talkie-not-working-how-to-fix/
