I agree, she's a good character and it's easy to empathize with her because of how much she's suffered. While I still think killing off henry was a mistake, I'm glad it's allowed lydia to get more screen time and a better storyline than in the comics

@@killyourdarlings1305 i disliked Henry anyway so it's a win win for me haha. You are definitely right though, it frees her up to be a way better character. And that's exactly what Cassidy deserves. That girl is talented

@@dwightyboy8388 I didn't love him either, but killing him off before he could get any development was cheap. They just used him as a plot device to start the whisperer war and make carol depressed about losing a kid for the 4th time

@@BenTIStudios My theories for that are between Gabe and Daryl. Gabe may have done it because he doesn't conflic on the council if he votes to protect him. Daryl says he kept watch at the house, but he may have just said it because he did it himself. Either way whoever did it HAS to be a main character. No way the girl who was guarding that room would let someone let Negan out, that wasn't important.

@FEAR The Walking Don Maybe. I just don't understand why that tree is even there in the first place. They had other cut down trees piled up near it.. There were no other trees. Why leave just one tree up right next to the wall. Kinda just stupid, but it's okay.

I think it was Carol with the paint. She has a long history of forcing the issue when the others are struggling with a big decision. She killed that woman in the prison to make sure another outbreak doesn't happen. Also killed or let those saviors be killed last season. And I'm sure some other things in between I'm forgetting. She wouldn't knock down the tree, I think that just happened on its own. The waves of walkers could just be the whisperers trying to round up the mega horde, and the ones we see are parts of the horde that broke off.

They literally talked about why it came out late this episode and last episode. So you clearly skipped the discusions.

Are you serious? this season and season 9 have given us some of the best and most creative episodes in the entire show. The writing is great, there's no filler / unnecessary bottle episodes, the characters have real emotional conversations but we still see them have fun and be happy, they're using new threats instead of just hordes of walkers (snow, fire, trees). Right now the show is just as good as it was during seasons 3-5 or even better
