😮 I’d love to do this I need to push myself to take that first step out with my stuff…… thanks for this vid…. When I just walk to the shops I’m always taking photos of things I see in nature but why not take some paper next time haha yep I will try this sooooon! 👍

Thanks for videoing - finding this fascinating. Downed tools on my printmaking and on a search of discovery. Probably a bit late in life to be doing this but now I’m not having to work full time I have a chance to explore. Looking forward to watching more of your process. Hi Orla, great video, very inspiring. Very envious of where you live, I’m just outside London near the M25 Dartford crossing 😵‍💫 very boring, but I do manage to find inspiration and plein aire videos like this are very encouraging 😊

Hi Lesley! Glad you enjoyed it :) It is beautiful here for sure - but I’m glad you’re finding inspiration where you are too! Maybe the zooming in ideas could be useful for finding pockets of nature & details in the urban environment too :)

Hi Orla, I really enjoyed that walk and chat, idling e to know what cameras and tech you employed to make the video. I try the same but carry way too much I feel, certainly tech camera etc, making the whole plein air filming adventure,cumbersome, heavy and. Uncomfortable . Cheers Paul

Hi Paul! Thank you :) of course; I’m filming all of this using my iPhone. I’ve a 13 pro, so I’ve been playing with the cinematic mode on it. I’m just using this, a mobile phone tripod and the editing software is premier pro :) only thing about filming on phones is you’ve got to make sure you transfer the videos to a hard drive so it doesn’t get totally full up 💫

Thank you! These are the best things I’ve bought in a while :) they’re Fjallraven abisko trekking tights W - they have a few variations; this one has the pockets & reinforced patches with thicker fabric than the other version. Recommend the investment, as they work for winter too with thermals underneath :)
