@thereluctantoutdoorsman Paddy the cockapoo and I continue our walk along the rugged North coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. In today's video (Part 3) we continue along the cliffpath eastwards towards Rozel and despite having walked this route several times before we manage to get hopelessly lost!

I loved the man with all the dogs! If he hadn't appeared who knows where you might have ended up😂. Still a lovely walk though, Tom!

Hi Sheila.........yes, he was a really nice fellah! Without him I think I would still be wandering around half a mile short of Rozel! ☹️😁

I’m glad the ankle is doing ok and the knee, but it doesn’t help walking up and down on the cliff paths Tom. When I play golf i rib CBD oil into my joints and it works a treat, but after saying that the one I use is much stronger here than in Jersey or the UK and it doesn’t work for everyone. I liked the dog story and I hope it ended well. I remember driving down Grouville hill and there was a dog dodging in and out the cars ahead of me. I stopped and put him into my car and took him to the animal shelter on St Savours road. I got a call from the dogs owner and she told me that the builders left the gate open and the dog wondered out and she couldn’t thank me enough and I was only to happy to help. Don’t worry about it Tom it makes it interesting on the videos getting lost. Cheers

Hi Nic, I'd rub CBD oil in my joints if it made me play golf as well as you! 😁We have another medal competition tomorrow with carnage for the field expected as the rough remains! Still....it is the same for everybody so I'll try to use it to my advantage! Well done taking the time to rescue the dog! Workmen left my side-door open when I lived at Stopford Road and my old dog Marley decided to wander around to the Co-Op Grand Marche! Fortunately a very kind lady stayed with him and followed him back to my house where she shut him back in......only to panic thinking that maybe she had secured him in the wrong house! 😁 I think my getting lost days are only going to get worse and rather embarrassingly in a soon to be published video I give to extremely nice French gentlemen completely the wrong directions to the Hungry Man cafe, telling them it was at Bouley bay when it is of course at Rozel! Oops! ☹️🙄

Hello Tom and Paddy G, after the extra mileage a can or two of cold beer 🍺🍺 will have gone down very well back at home 👍👍Rozel Bay is great when the tide is in 👍and like you said The Hungry Man is a great place for snacks etc.Been very windy here in Cornwall so no drone flying yet just filming places used in tv series Poldark.Somehow my legs ain't struggling so much since my visit in hospital but early days to think about entering the Olympics 😁All the best Lloyd

Hi John, I'm beginning to quickly realize that I am no longer the sharpest tool in the box! 🔪😁😁😁 I should have turned right towards the houses after passing the old couple with the dogs, but I went straight on and a bit left! ☹️

Another lovely walk thanks Tom and Paddy ☺️. We're heading to St Helier on Monday Tom for our first visit ,I have waited 40 years to do this holiday so really looking forward to it. Could you tell me the best places to see red squirrels please?

Hi Donna May, I'm so glad you are finally getting to visit Jersey! Red squirrels are to be found in many wooded areas around Jersey....we have no grey squirrels, so they are thriving! West Park on the edge of town is a fairly small area in which I regularly see them. The area behind the old Overdale Hospital which adjoins West Park has a healthy population but the old hospital buildings are being demolished at the moment and access to this area is a little bit tricky at the moment. However, they can be seen in the main part of the park (a hill-side facing the sea) as well. I hope you enjoy your holiday! 👍🏻

Hi Tom & Paddy . Further to your advice on to find the red squirrels sadly we weren't lucky enough to see any this visit. Jersey lived upto and exceeded my expectations, we loved our visit and can't wait to return. You are so lucky to have Jersey as your home. Looking forward to more videos too ☺️

Oh dear, Donna May what a shame the red squirrels didn't come out for you. My house backs onto the valley there and I am lucky enough to see them almost every day in the back garden. I also see them regularly when I'm walking Paddy down there. Maybe next time huh? So glad you enjoyed your trip and don't worry I'll keep the videos coming to remind you of the island! 👍🏻

Hello Mr. Z and thank you so much for taking the time to comment! If I'm not sure what is ahead I usually keep Paddy on a lead........he is very good, but there are some very steep drops (just yards from the path) on a lot of the north coast walks. 👍🏻
