Walking from Bouley Bay to Rozel (Part 4)

@thereluctantoutdoorsman Paddy the cockapoo and I continue our walk along the rugged North coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. Today's video is the final part (Part 4) and in it we continue along the route eastwards before dropping down into Rozel and walking along the pier to the harbour.

Thank you for part 4, Tom and Paddy😊. Those houses were stunning and I like the quotes in the garden😂. We really must visit Rozel next time.

Hi Sheila. Yes, Rozel is well worth a visit and the walk to Le Saie from there is lovely........it just so happens to be the video I am posting this morning! 😁

There are many beautiful houses in Jersey, and I am the same as yourself Tom as I love looking people’s beautiful 🏠. What a fantastic view from that house when walking down the hill to Rozel bay lucky people with views like that. I think since the pandemic the hospitality sector the world over is struggling and the people whom worked in it have moved on probably to better paid jobs. It’s so beautiful Rozel bay I have had a couple of snacks at that cafe a few time in the past. I enjoyed this walk, especially part four just stunning on a nice day and I often forget just how beautiful Jersey is you lucky man. Good golfing and all the best to you and Paddy and the family.

Hi Nic, thanks so much for your comments.......I really appreciate you taking the time! The good news for hospitality workers in Jersey now is that because people are desperate to get hold of them they are commanding better salaries. As you say, they were poorly paid in the past. A few months ago a restaurant in town had a sign outside looking for staff and quoting seriously good money. They deserve it though! 👍🏻

Hi Tom and Paddy, this walk is just stunning, and worth every WOW😂 I have done it a couple of years ago but had forgotten just how lovely it is. It is definitely on the agenda for my next visit in July, followed by a visit to the Hungry Man!! You getting lost made it even more interesting, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens to me, as that last bit of the walk did look a bit confusing. Thanks so much for such wonderful videos, I hope your good weather lasts and have a great week.

Hiya Tom and Paddy (best mate 🙂) the two times we visited Rozel the tide was in and looked stunning ,we did stop at the now closed down tea room (shame) and the Hungry Man for refreshmants and both got our seal of approval. I'm surprised that you didn't stop for a cold drink and put your feet up for 5 minutes before the return journey🍺🍻🍺or maybe you did but I do not blame you for not filming 🤪🤪Well done for 4 lovely videos of this walk and loved it when you got lost , remember all roads leads to the sea .Take Care Matey.

Hi Lloyd, I think I am going to start having the odd break half way through walks. Now I'm carrying a backpack I can fit in some goodies.....flask etc. I always have to drive, so save having a beer for my return home! Thanks for your kind comments. Keep getting stronger mate! 👍🏻

Ha ha I didn't have you down as a Christine Aguilera fan John, but why not......my guilty pleasure is Shakira! 😁😁😁Talking of potatoes .....maybe we should start making vodka as somebody told me yesterday that a resident of the island made £1 billion last year from his whiskey company! I don't know if it is true........sounds like you would have to sell an awful lot of whiskey! Have a great weekend! 🌞

@@thereluctantoutdoorsman hi Tom yes the whisky 🥃 company is durells a very big concern ✅ must have lots of shops 2 it was 1 of my faves the durells went to live in Corfu can you remember it? Tom I've 🐝 n watching for many years ⭐ Angie will like this as she was a cabaret dancer, it's filmed in Holland Amsterdam surprise her when you have a night in m8 fantastic entertainment its called de toppers 👍 all the best John 😊😊

Hi John, the whisky Company is 'Grant's whisky' which I must confess I've never heard of. The chairman is Jersey's richest resident worth more than £5.6 billion! Fair play to him.........I like people who have made a fortune whilst actually producing something! 👍🏻Gerald Durrell was the naturalist and writer who founded The Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Jersey Zoo! His books about Corfu were great and I loved the three series TV show about them (which Ange and I recently re-watched). I'll keep my eyes open for de toppers......aren't they a Dutch pop group? 🤔
