Thanks for sharing Admiral. I trust you, your good Lady and the family are all keeping well. I really appreciate a view of a different part of the Country during these times, you are so lucky to have access to such scenery on your doorstep. As a key worker my travel and exercise is somewhat limited, mainly to work and back and the weekly shopping and though I can see the Pennines from my house I can't with any justification go and walk them. Has the work on Watchet Harbour stopped or is work to repair the sea wall continuing? Stay safe and keep posting updates when you can. 👍
As I understand the guide lines, as long as we can walk or cycle out for our exercise, that is not breaking any restrictions. Sadly all work including repairing the Marina sea wall has ceased. Lets hope we dont get another storm!
Greetings Admiral (LOL) what did Horace say to Winnie so many years ago on that radio programme the name of which escapes me? Sunday afternoons on the Light Service. Just prompted to ask 'cos can't understand what your litle Christmass creature has to say? All power to your shutter release keep safe and at home. Regards, Henry
Gosh I just about remember Horace and Winnie on the radio! They used to make us laugh didnt they! I dont recall who used to introduce them. A translation at the start of our story our little furry creature says "You cant do that yet, so lets go for a walk instead" and at the end "Thank you for coming along!" He is only little!
I have discovered it was Harry Hemsley and there are some great films about him on RU-vid! Well worth a visit if you remember his great child impressions!
