‪@thereluctantoutdoorsman‬ Paddy the cockapoo and I continue our quest to walk around the coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. This time we head off from La Rocque (the Southern-most point of the island) across the beaches to Le Hocq. Come with us on a relaxing virtual hike with great views of this beautiful island.

That is some walk you have both done, Tom! Not easy walking on shingle or even sand for that matter. Paddy just loves the beach😂

Hi Sheila, at least I get to have a lovely pint in the Le Hocq Inn at the end of it!

I can see that you and Paddy have a special bond Tom, and I would go as far to say you love him to bits. There is something about a beech for dogs and it must be the feeling of sand between their feet as well as the freedom to run. With the sound from the gravel on the beech it could Baron de Rullecourt and his troops making their way along the beech ha ha.

Hi Nic, yes you are right mate.......I really love Paddy, he is a special little fellah and we have spent quite a lot of time together over the past couple of years! I'm afraid the Baron's trip to the beach didn't turn out to well for him, but Paddy certainly enjoyed it! 😁

Hi Bruce, Paddy is loving life! I have just finished editing a video that won't be on the channel until 20/07/24 but in it Paddy has the best time scrambling over the rocks at high tide! It is a rare thing for me to be laughing like a crazy man whilst I am editing! 😁😁😁

would it be worth you buying yourself a Tide Timetable? as it can be easy to get trapped by the tides between slips up to the road in places around the coast. people tend to forget that we have the third fastest tidal movements in the world.

I know you are right Jean and I should also get another bus timetable after I managed to soak my first one in water! 😁 Until then, we will just have to wing it.......but I have to say that I think you have pulled a bit of a Nostadamus prophecy out of the hat there.........try and watch Paddy and I trying to get around the coast from St. Aubin to Belcroute at high tide when the video comes out on 20/07/24!!!!!! 😮😮😮🤔
