Beautiful neighborhood! It’s a shame that the architect isn’t more professional. I’m so happy that they loved all your hard work while they were gone. I laughed when Micheal said “Why do you do this to yourself?” Has he met you??😂 Parker seems quite comfortable in his new home. Thank you for the update. It really is a beautiful neighborhood. I thought so when you moved in when it was still winter and I knew it would be gorgeous when it got green. Your d-i-l is lucky to have you and it's wonderful that she appreciates all you do. I'm with Michael; I mourn for trees that have to be taken down too, even when I know it needs to be done.

Don't take this the wrong way but if I were a couple and moving in with my mom to a smallish home I would prefer to have the basement for the two of us and let mom have a bedroom upstairs. This will give them some private time down there during this transition time with so much going on. Sounds like the best plan really.

You sound so happy! I'm glad it's done and they're home and the tree's coming down. Parker is enjoying the view, Squish had a good vacation and you can take a day off and wear yourself out trying to rest. I somehow feel relieved too! Or maybe it's because my Amazon delivery arrived and I can shut the garage door to keep out this unbearable heat. I wonder how the weather is in the Yukon? Today, I put on a pair of jeans (with a cotton blouse w/short sleeves) and pretended it was snowing. I have a great imagination, but you probably knew that. I scared myself into thinking something was outside after dark, trying to get in, but it was just my stomach making noises after dinner. 😂 I knew it, but it was still fun. I'm in the country without sidewalks or street lights and no security light. I don't believe in lightning up the yard for burglers to break in. It's black as Ink out there and the silence is deafening. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Rest up, Margaret. Tomorrow is another day! Peace and happiness! 💕💕💕

Your frustration with Architect is understandable but having everything up and not getting a certificate for occupancy is horrible. Modular? Again code . Hard to get mortgages & insurance. Basement again code must have more than obeying exit. Hope you all are safe with that horrible storm! ❤

I know you will yell at me to go watch the old videos but I have watched all and I don't think you addressed why you don't have a say in the architect. I thought you sold house to build the addition. Assumed it was your project but better for you if it is their project and you get the benefit of living there and proceeds from house sale stays with you!!
