Boy! That theatre entrance is tastefully decorated. Yes, I recall that this was a Steve Wynn property initially. Probably gave him a good start. Thank you for taking us along. I tried playing Blackjack there. The dealer was super weird, he just said "Here's an idea, Why don't you give me half the money you were gonna bet, then, we'll go out back, I'll kick you in the nuts, and we'll call it a day!" Beautiful hotel though.

Stayed here at the MIRAGE last April for a week. A GREAT place!!!!!!

Steve Wynn got his start by buying a small stake in the Golden Nugget and eventually built the hotel on the property in the late-70's. Saw a documentary on it years ago. Great work guys. Can't wait for more videos!

12:02 backwards water and cars! Well played. Steve Wynn started off with the Golden Nugget, then Mirage, Treasure Island, then Belagio, then Wynn and Encore. In 1987 I saw a giant model of The Mirage in Golden Nugget, everyone was kind of in disbelief if he could pull it off. Four years later we stayed there, great place, great video as always.

Stayed at the Mirage the last couple of times in Las Vegas. Good location, rooms, and pool. Like getting the 2nd tier room with separate elevators from the regular rooms. The Cirque du Soleil Beatles Love show is great.

Hi Guys! Great videos! I have been going to Las Vegas twice a year since 1999 and you STILL show me some cool new little thing every time. SO... Steve Wynn built the Mirage, and it was the first "mega resort/casino" on the strip. That is the one that started all of the others. He also built Bellagio. Of course he also built Wynn Las Vegas and its sister resort Encore. He is currently building a Wynn resort/casino literally just outside Boston (Everett, MA). I may have missed something, but that is what I know.

Another great vid. We usually stay next door at TI. Take the tram to the Mirage. Play My Vegas slots on u phone and redeem for buffet at MGM properties.

I love the Mirage. One of my favourites in Las Vegas. Hope to stay there next time we are in Las Vegas. One detail I don’t think you mentioned is that Cravings buffet is one of, if not the only, LV buffet where wine and beer is included in the unlimited buffet.

You guys are my favorite VEGAS bloggers. You were lucky. They never let me video inside the Sports Book Room. The Mirage is my go-to place in Vegas. I stayed here the most. I love THE WYNN and VENETIAN too. The BRASS BOOBIES were in the movie VEGAS VACATION with Chevy Chase. LVB has awesome shakes and burgers. You need to try it sometime.

I need to get some free time to work on my videos and adventures. Always enjoy watching your vids. You guys need a catch phrase for an ending. Something like "Thanks for watching, this is what it's like.... Living In Las Vegas!"

Great channel! Can you guys do a walkthrough of O'Sheas?

I've stayed in most of the hotels on the strip and the Mirage is still my favorite. Even though it's almost 30 years old, it's aged well, doesn't look or feel dated. I stayed there in the early 90's when it was new, and again recently and it looks and feels just the same as always. Great location, just walk out the front door and you're right in the middle of everything. A strip-view room is worth it, the view is great at night and you can enjoy the volcano show from your room. The restaurants are generally good, but the Carnegie Deli has the best hot pastrami and corned beef sandwiches on the planet. It's the real deal, from Carnegie in NYC and the sandwiches are piled with meat. Even if you don't stay there, if you love good NYC deli don't miss it. Surprisingly we do fairly well gambling there, rare for the big strip hotels these days. Thanks for the walk through, makes me want to go back!

The ceiling with the lighting allows for great illumination throughout the casino.

The best ice cream I've ever eaten was at Coconuts, in the Mirage's shopping arcade. Expensive ice cream but way too yummy.

Wynn had the Dunes demolished and erected the Bellagio, which is now operated by the MGM Group. Wynn is also located in Macau.

The Mirage is my favorite Vegas Hotel. I stay at the Linq now since it's cheaper and its way eaiser to get free room comps there.
