This is a Walking Tour of a Picturesque and historic 19th Century Bulgaria Mountain Village. The name of the village is Koprivshtitsa. This pretty little village was the Home of the Bulgarian revolution from the Ottoman Empire which had persecuted Bulgaria for 500 years. A fascinating village with a fascinating history. Well worth a visit.  Koprivshtitsa is in the Rose valet in central Bulgaria about an hour from our home.
