Jennifer Aniston and Jack Black present the Oscars for Animated Feature to Andrew Stanton for WALL-E and Short Film (Animated) to Kunio Kato for La Maison en Petits Cubes at the 81st Academy Awards.
Keedy Perestroika No akwardness, because by that time all three of them had settled their feud. Jennifer realized why her relationship with Brad went wrong and had nothing to do with Angelina. You grow as you get older.
Jennifer Aniston was TV. Angelina was Movies. Jennifer won an Emmy. Angelina won an Oscar. Jen had small cute lips. Angelina was big Lips. Blonde, Brunette. Jennifer's dad is John Aniston. Angelina's Dad is Jon Voight. Angelina was estranged from dad and close with mom. Jennifer was estranged from Mom and close with dad. Their initials are JA' AJ. Polar opposite's
To be fair it was 4 years later she was in a happy relationship and her and brad weren’t on bad terms. If it was right after I would understand but it isn’t that big a deal. Good for her for not being bitter
for one reason they are on the other side of the stage but when they have to say the winner omg awkward 😂😂 just in front of Brad and Angie. You can easily feel the nervously of Jen and in the end how she takes Jack to the other side of the stage 😂
I know this is stupid but you could literally feel the tension in that gigantic room. Jen's voice was shaky. Really shaky. Which made the entire thing super duper awkward. (Whoever placed Brad and Angelina in the middle front row was a genius (eyeroll))
@@frankelder1158 You shut up! Actually Angelina is an Oscar winning actress plus having another Oscar nomination while Jennifer has never been nominated for an Oscar...But its actually not about who is the hotter or who is the most sane...its about their personal lives not ours ...their needs..their hearts..their lives which we know nothing about! I love Jennifer and Angelina but it was never, for Brad, about who is prettier
Both brad and Angelina were nominated for best actor and best actress oscars that year. Think they had more right to be there than tv actress Jennifer.
right i remember watching Wall-e when i was in my elementary school i guess or not even attend school either, and im your "100" likes botton on this like ! wow yeah its not important but you're welcome
This PIXAR masterpiece manages to be profoundly moving and thought-provoking, yet still entertaining. Gorgeously detailed and, more important, ambitiously challenging, WALL-E is cinematic art.
WALL-E (2008): Academy Awards Best Animated Feature (winner) Best Original Screenplay (nominee) Best Original Score (nominee) Best Original Song (nominee) Best Sound Editing (nominee) Best Sound Mixing (nominee)
I wanted Kung Fu Panda to win that Oscar but I did like Wall-E. I didn't see Bolt until after the Oscars. Also it was very strange when they used that same music that night when a winner walked to accept his/her award. Jennifer you are still as beautiful as when you were Rachel on Friends.
Manuel Orozco, I really like Kung Fu Panda but Wall-E is something special and unique, a cinematic masterpiece. It’s sad. Everytime Dreamworks makes an amazing movie, another studio just has to make something better
WALL-E and EVE are extremely sympathetic. They're sweet, conscientious, loyal truth-seekers who are able to transcend technology and develop the capacity for love. EVE is dismissive of WALL-E at first, but she comes to appreciate his dedication.
No one is commenting on La Maison en Petits Cubes winning for the short film, but it is SO gorgeous and absolutely worthy of the win. It's as good as Up for me.
Themes of WALL-E (2008) Living is more than surviving: the characters realize that they have to have more in their lives, something to live or work for. This puts them in conflict with the others who refuse to change and demand the dissenters fall back in line and re-enter their shell. In the end, the heroes manage to convince the whole community to leave their stifling fear and enter the world with all its risks and work for something constructive and meaningful. As a result, everyone finds that they are happier and up to the challenge. Even in the bleakest of scenarios, love and determination can renew life. People need to stand on their own two feet and take care of themselves to make a life worth living. Fighting for free will.
WALL-E (2008): The beautiful movie about two robots and a bunch of pudgy humans in space; the story is really about love and home and second chances and there are some simply soul touching moments along the way. It could easily be considered the most heartwarming and optimistic post-apocalyptic story ever.
@@wyattgoralski818 You Took the words right out of my Mouth... WALL-E was the first Science Fiction film I saw in theaters when I was 7 years old and I still remember the time i first saw it. Mostly
@@AlexLopez-kx7bc up is overrated. people like to call it a masterpiece because of the first 15 minutes but the resrt of it is just shenanigans with this kid and bird and dog. i cant find the emotional cohesion between the promise carl made to take her wife to paradise falls and the promise he made to this kid to protect a giant bird thing
Tinkerbell, Madagascar 2 and Waltz with Bashir (which was nominated for best international movie) should also have been nominated for this category! Also seeing Katzenberg laughing at Jack Black for him betting on their rival company makes me smile for no reason
@@noone39373 Spiderman into the spiderverse is better than incredibles 2, especially if we talk about the aestetic and how it was directed. Even the first incredibles was better than the sequel, but it remains a good movie after all.
2016 .2023 happies period for us .Good lessons for cheaters, tipster, serial married wealthy healthy famous men stealer, druggist, alcohol, BPD, narcissistic, lunatic, wanderlust couple hippi family 👪.
1. Igor 2. Bolt 3. Kung-Fu Panda 4. Horton Hears a Who 5. Wall E🏆 6. Madagascar 2 7. Sita Sing the Blues 8. Morty and Max 9. Idiots and Angels 10. Waltz and Bashir
In a similar way, WALL-E is this unintentional hero. He has the ability to impact humanity, and the ironic thing is that he is the most human thing left on Earth. This little robot actually teaches humanity how to be human again.
I thought Zootopia, Bolt and Tangled were equally entertaining. I liked them but I didn't love them. Chris Williams did a much better job with Big Hero 6.
Manuel Orozco In my opinion, Zootopia was a MASTERPIECE. You cant compare a MASTERPIECE to a forgettable movie like Bolt. While Bolt wasn't a bad movie, it was very forgettable and was a part of the second Disney dark ages. I ADORE Tangled tho.
My Version of 2009 Oscar Nominations for Best Animated Feature Film: WALL-E (Winner) Kung Fu Panda (Nominee) Ponyo (Nominee) Bolt (Nominee) Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (Nominee)
Strong messages about the dangers of over-consumption and excessive waste; the vision of Earth as a garbage strewn wasteland (and humans as hoverchair bound lumps who can barely walk) speaks volumes. The importance of protecting the environment (and the consequences of inaction and greed in the face of potential environmental catastrophe) are a cornerstone to this movie.
Best Animated Feature Film Bolt (nominee) Byron Howard (director) Chris Williams (director) Walt Disney Animation Studios Kung Fu Panda (nominee) John Stevenson (director) Mark Osborne (director) DreamWorks Animation SKG WALL-E (winner) Andrew Stanton (director) PIXAR Animation Studios
WALL-E is directed by Andrew Stanton, and it is a delight from start to finish. This extraordinary computer-animated comedy by Disney PIXAR will enchant viewers across the age spectrum with its wonderful love story. It is also a bit of a cautionary tale as it shows us a future where humans have trashed the good Earth and exited for a fantasy world where their capacities for caring and compassion are greatly diminished.
