I’ve had Walmart reject an entire load of perfectly good quality onions. This is what they do when they over order. Another trick of theirs is when the dc is backed up, the gate Guard won’t let you onto the lot until after your appointment, then they say you missed your appointment, which releases them from having to pay detention. They are a horrible company.
If I’m there ahead of time and they do this to me I’m bringing load back to dc. Not losing detention pay for this. They are losing delivery. Fire me if they don’t like it.
Yeah so we must stop giving these criminals our energy this includes paying taxes, all fear porn they cant do shit upon transcending. They have us in a lower fractal essentially. @@Larry-rz4ed
Just another mega company crushing the little guy. They want you to dump your truck and work for them. Corporate communism. They fund the red party, by the way.
Sometimes it's just a scam. The rejected produce gets sold for pennies on the dollar to a warehouse that sells it back to Walmart. Then everyone involved gets a cut ...except of course the farmer and the carrier.
Target had me waiting 21 hours in California. They said they had to count everything, I said why do I have to participate with the count I delivered a sealed trailer. They said that is how they do it. I got paid $12 an hour retention which is complete bullshit .I told my company dispatcher never book a load there again, he was ok with that because the next load he had for me had to be canceled.
@@phxbro1 I agree a sealed load isn’t your problem that’s a shipper problem shorting it. Seriously people don’t know wtf they are doing . Been a freight man for 20 years .
Nice to see a video, always enjoy them. Keep doing what your doing your doing great! Pup looks so cute, you always have that natural Beauty going on. Be safe, drive safe. Can't wait for the next video.
Hello Nia good too see you and palm palm love watching your video stay safe out really love to see you more you are a very busy lady ❤ love and stay safe
Although a product is rejected, it does not necessarily imply that it is of poor quality. In most cases, it simply means that it does not meet the specific standards of a particular customer. Therefore, it may still be suitable for another company with less stringent standards. I hope this clarification is helpful.
@@JS-zb1vv Yes she does and if you listen to her speak in the beginning of the video she says that she's also getting pd to go out of the way to deliver the damaged goods. Don't just watch the video listen as well and she answers ur question.
Some places have very high standards when they choose to enforce them. I had a Fred Meijer DC accept a partial load of produce but then reject a lot of it bc it didn't meet their standards yet it looked in perfect condition. I kept some, the guard shack people took some and the local food bank came and got the rest. We couldn't understand why they refused the product. It seemed they decided to enforce their high standards for only the product they refused.
Get a spray bottle and mix dawn and water. See if you can see any bubbles. Start with the valve stem and then check the bead (where the tire meets the rim) that doesn't work take it somewhere
Murphy’s Law says bead leaks will always be on the inside where you can’t see. Usually tire dealer mechanics or technicians are more skilled at finding hard to find leaks then your average truckstop mechanic. If you find a tire dealer that matches the brand tire your truck has it’s not impossible some sort of warranty could prompt free service. I have been off the road a while, but back in my time dealers for tires were not that bad on prices compared to rip-off truck stops who might even hire people with little to no experience in the field. When I was in high school, I worked nights in a truck stop alone by myself repairing tires and pumping fuel and no I didn’t know anything about the subject.
I totally understand with you’re saying . It doesn’t make none sense. If the load it’s good they are the ones who should be ethier receiving it and not make you in this case drive back and for. But this is trucking my folk! Peace, love and respect for you and what you are doing out there . Be safe !!! God bless you !
Good Sunday morning to my favorite trucker, I want you to know that you are awesome is that why the sun Shining so brightly because you bring nothing but good energy, Talk to you soon my beautiful Shania.
Buy an airline and put a gladhand on it so you can connect it to your emergency gladhand(the red one) on the truck and use your compressor to air up your tires, they used to sell them ready to go in the truck stops but it's best to change the chuck out to one that holds itself to the valve stem so you don't have to sit there and hold it. I ran a refer for 15 years and they can reject you for the box being damaged if they have bought more then they are selling and the place you ended up unloading your reject peppers probably bought them for nothing and or donates them to a food bank.
lentilsmith8474. Yes, get a ( good quality ) tire gauge. If you don't have a spray bottle just yet and you want to check your valve stem, put a lot of spit on your finger and rub it over the valve stem end. See if it bubbles.
Hello love the commitment to the craft, been driving 11 years and still going, you seem really cool, if you ever get a lay over In southern Oklahoma we should hit that casino Ching Ching lol
You need to buy a Air hose for your truck cause that way you can fill up your tires using your own air lines since your truck is a rolling air compressor it will save your butt in the long run especially if you have a flat or low air tire and you fill it up enough to get it to the next loves or ta petro to get it fixed or plugged
@@improvisedsurvival5967 yeah that's how you get fired . You put some air in that tire and then you pull it to the end of your shift or to your break and pull into a tire shop the petrol t/a Les Schwab Goodyear most all of them will get you in and out in 30 minutes. And they usually got some preferred parking by the repair shop so you don't have to go fight to get yourself into a hole somewhere after that. I start early I'm usually done by 15:00. At some of the t/A's they tell you to park on the line over there and they send the tire shop truck over to pull your tire off and fix it no charge extra you can give them your phone number and go to the restaurant if they're really busy it might be an hour or two on a company trailer I don't care. As long as it's done by the time I get ready to go in the morning it doesn't matter I have woke up to the receipt under my wiper blade four 8 new tires the company put on the trailer when I was asleep I just took a picture and told him I needed one tire now and they need to change the rest of them as soon as possible. Don't ask me how I think it was a trailer that went to Mexico and they never switched the rubber on it when it got back to America and then someone pulled it to Florida on NASCAR tires . The Pryor load was carrier a/c units.
Hello Nia. Thank you for continuing to make videos. They are helpful and even inspirational to us new Truck drivers. Also, is it possible that since some of us are also fans of Pomy (or Palm as some say), that you may make a video about him?🙂
Running the tire low will cup it out. Those singles are expensive. I would have other people to find the leak. Heavy Soap & water may work to find the leak
Walmart rejects some produce loads when they figure out that they can’t sell all of it on time without going bad and claim that it’s because of decay . If they accepted the whole load they would have to pay the shipper for the whole load as ordered but by rejecting some of it they only pay for what they took. And that’s why the shipper finds another customer to buy the rejected product maybe for less instead of throwing it away. I delivered at Sterling Illinois Walmart a load of strawberries from California and they rejected half of the trailer for ‘decay’ , I couldn’t see anything wrong with the product .. I was asked to take it to another produce market in Chicago and delivered it there …
Just a helpful hint when at truckstop get you a tire air checker. Also look through guages on dash you may have a guage that shows air pressure in your tires?
Check the air valve inside the tire valve. Sometimes they can cause the leak. They just unscrew from inside the tire valve with a Schrader valve wrench.
Produce place....Michigan, sounds like Livonia, MI at Mastronardi. Walmart can be extremely picky about shit. Had them reject an entire load of butter, 42k, because the product wasn't centered on the pallets
I'm guessing mastronardi also. Refusing a full load of butter bc it wasn't centered on the pallets is just bs in my opinion. Wasn't ur fault, you didn't load it. And they still need a supply of butter somehow. Thankfully I haven't had any Walmart DC pull any bs rejections on me. Just Fred Meijer and Gordon foods.
@thetexastrucker7934 seriously. I was shocked. Never up to that point had I ever had ANY kind of rejection so for wallyworld to reject an entire truck load 🤯. It was such a BS reason the clerk didn't even have that reason in the computer as a selection. 2 years in mostly reefer and that's been the worst. Hopefully never again.
When i worked at Prime is awlays went to Mastronardi in Livonia Michigan when coming off hometime. I always had rejected loads I'm assuming that's where you picked up from? Lol
Had the same thing happen to me with a Walmart shipper for a full broccoli load I had to dispose of it because dispatch had nowhere to send me to take it.
@thetexastrucker7934 had to find a location to take it and they could keep it or dispose it and unfortunately there was no food bank anywhere where I was at so I give some away and had to dispose of the rest
Nice to see you in your boots Nia, girl you're looking sensational!! Hopefully you get that tire fixed, you have enough to worry about. I love how Palm was looking while you were getting the truck washed. Stay safe and have a great day 💯🙏
I hate when they reject product for no reason or stupid little reasons. Your learning very fast though, proud of you. Trucking isnt for the faint of heart
Hai flawless beautiful truck driver thank you for your video But take care your self especially night rides don't trust the steangers waiting for you another video
Walmart has some crazy rules. I had a load that I picked up. It was a load of different kinds of bottled water. Crazy thing happen, true story. The power went out or something was wrong with the computer. Can't remember the full details, so they wrote out the order and signed it and gave me a seal to put on the trailer. I was a rookie then, well I drove to the Walmart facility in Bentonville, Ar. and they rejected my load. Not sure where, I took it too, but took it somewhere. I was working for Schneider at the time. Any little thing they will find a reason to reject the load. They could have called the facility or anything to get clarification, but they rejected it. Also, where is your tire pressure gauge, and 5th wheel puller? Keep up the content, I enjoy your videos.
I used to haul produce, the wallyworld DC in waco would always reject our loads as being 2% past what they deemed acceptable,we would take the declined produce to Dallas to a discount produce place where the Walmart would get the produce from, heard it was their scam to get cheaper produce
That's how Gordonsville wm DC does..used to run out of that place . Would hear guys in cb stuck their for over a week with load issues like paperwork..go to truck stop close by get on cb and local people will come and take whatever you have ..
Walmart in Olney , Illinois would always reject Dole Pineapples for not being enough even tho a container being slap full. And dole bananas for not being ripe enough. Would always bring them to Chicago produce market for cheaper or a place in Detroit. Was called something bros. Fun times.
Listen to what others have said and get air hose to attach to gland hand, tire chuck and quick connect for end so you can also use air blow gun to clean stuff. Get tire pressure gauge, spray bottle with dish soap solution to find leaks. Stuff should be available in truck stops. You will need glad hand like on trailer. All this should be shown on u tube how to’s
I did quality control mainly checking quality of produce.... I rejected many pallets of produce due to being bad... All I needed was 1 or 2 bad fruits in one pallet to reject half a truck load.
If you've ever shopped at an indoor farmer market where everything is super cheap that's where rejected produce goes, or it goes to a ready made facility where they make convenient store subs etc... Perfectly good product just didn't pass food QC inspection at DC..DC have to store it, pull order as it comes in then load on local trucks to store..could be weeks before product is in a customer's hand....HUNTS POINT in NYC takes all rejected produce through brokerage...
Ran produce for quite a few years. Lotsa jerks with attitudes at grocery wear houses. Whata pain in the butt. BTW, the thing at the end of the air hose that attaches to the tire is called a "chuck" the stem covers are called "flow through" and the Blue Beacon is the "Streakin' Beacon"...Be safe Hon and never do any dispatchers any "SPECIAL FAVORS".... They won't return them.. P.S. get a valve core driver and check to see if the Schrader Valve needs tightening inside your tire stems. Sometimes it can be as simple as that on fixing a tire losing air issue.
Water bottle with dish soap and water mixed. slowly pour some by valve. Then around the bead on inside and outside. Then over the top of treads. Usually if you see bubbles. That will be the area of leak.
It was still safe and edible so they sent it to a distributor for cheap restaurant ingredients. They will use it to make "House Made" salsa or fajitas in cheaper family Mexican restaurants in that part of the country
I had taters from Grafton, ND to Lance Foods in Charlotte get rejected. There were, I think 19 trucks. All of us got rejected. I got lucky by having to drop it at Meechum Snacks half way across town.
I work for Walmart and you should have made the DC palletize the product they took off and rewrap it before you left the DC they know better because now we are liable for the damage to that product while in transit.
