Walmart Prepping Haul -- Seniors Living On Social Security -- Pantry Restocking Calvin and Marie make a trip to Walmart to restock their prepping pantry with condiments and accessories
I found your channel about 4 months ago. My husband and I are your ages and we love watching your videos. I have made several of your delicious recipes and when you go shopping I feel like I am walking right beside you. The Sunday devotional time is precious. Never think that your time making the videos is not appreciated. I would love it if you were my relative or neighbor. God bless you both.
Nice prepping haul friends. We are doing the exact same thing. Even tho we strongly believe in our faith, I still believe that God expects us to use good judgement and wisdom in these tough days coming ahead of us. TFS God Bless us all and GOD BLESS OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. 🛐🛐🛐
I love grocery hauls & find them fascinating but grocery shopping is one of my favorite things to do since childhood. Isin't it wonderful when you discover your total is less than anticipated.
That was a good prepping haul. I always like having my pantry stocked. Addison will love the donuts, yummy. I completely understand what it’s like living on a social security income. God bless you both.

I just came across your channel today. I love it! Great money saving tips at Walmart. You are both so nice and a good looking couple at that! I just subscribed. Looking forward to learning more from you both.
@@terrihartlep8094 Ours refused to have cashiers. They have four self serve registers and it was ridiculous how long the lines! I personally left a cart full of items because I refused to stand there for two hours to check out. They finally started opening registers a month ago.
I love that y'all split up the hauls...that's a great idea. I really enjoy seeing people's grocery hauls....it gives me ideas of things that i may not have thought about. Have an amazing day Calvin and Marie.
I like these prepping haul videos. My husband is retired on SS; I am on SSDI but I usually try, as our budget permits, to add or order a few things extra or just double up on a some things during our normal grocery shopping. I also try to purchase a 6-count or 12 count case of some sort of canned goods each month, so we can have a stockpile on hand in case of emergency. Like y'all, we're not doomsday preppers, but we have been iced in, or without transportation, or just in bad health, with the flu or something, and unable to go shopping like we normally would. Add to that the fact that we are 15 miles from the closest grocery store and we would be up a creek, without our emergency pantry. By having a couple months worth of non-perishables foods and household goods on hand, we've never had to worry about running out of stuff, even when the pandemic first hit and panic buyers were wiping out the shelves faster than the trucks could bring the goods to the stores.

Hello Calvin and Marie. Marie, love the blue top. Thanks for taking us along today. We went shopping today at Dollar Tree, I found some English muffins. Take care. Mrs Lonnie
Hey y'all 👋 I'm on Social Security myself and I have to stretch out what I can every month. After I pay my monthly bills. As y'all know I trade with Walmart to. They do have good prices on their name brand items and taste just as good! My Daddy worked in grocery business and I remember him telling me all sorts of stuff on how to shop. Y'all did great on the haul!!! Check out lady was really nice 🙂 See y'all soon. Stay safe! Were getting ready for some extreme weather this evening. ❤❤❤❤
Saw your channel today and subscribed. I am a 70-year-old single living on Social Security only from my work history. I am fortunate to have a paid for mortgage low utilities and am I able to put 20% into savings every month. I am a person that has stocked up for many years shopping markdown meat and whatever else I can find in markdown or clearance shopping this way has helped me save money and allowed me to stock up. I'm not much of a Walmart shopper I feel I do better shopping at Kroger or Schnucks because of the way I shop. I was surprised to see you did not check expiration dates I do this often finding longer expiration dates to the back of the Shelf
@@debbieframpton3857 Welcome, thanks very much Debbie. Our Walmart sales out so fast that whatever is on the shelves is usually just been put on there. They restock the store every day.
I can't believe how cheap goods are. England here and prices at the moment are crazy. So glad I started prepping 3 years ago I could afford it all now. God bless you both❤
Good afternoon Calvin and Marie.Nice haul. We go to Walmart early in the morning. Walmart is almost in our backyard, we can see it from our deck. Have a small supply off things on hand. Thanks for all you do. Take care. Sending 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Hi Calvin and Marie! I loved watching your Walmart Prepping Haul. I am in my 60's and will soon be on social security too. Could you please show a video on how you prepare the small packages of instant mashed potatoes? Mine never turn out so good. Thank you for the ideas and I will see you on your next video 😊
$stores carry name brand items now and most are $1.25. Food items are under $5.00 most $ stores. $general is going up I guess to $1.25-$7.00. Dunno y. But its what they said. But yea, nice selection there.
👋 kids, Lookie !!!! 65,000 !!!!! You both did a great job with this buy. Well done 👏👏 Doesn't it make you feel great to know you have a supply, just in case? I'm a big believer in stocking.... Really proud of you. 🤗 🤗
I love it! Watched the Walmart haul from a few months ago also. This is so smart. Grocery / pantry staples are a must and it's just good dollars & cents to buy at a retailer like Walmart for things that you would pay more for elsewhere when you are in a pinch. Example: low on Blue Plate and run down to The Pig. You will pay more! I typically do a "pantry haul" every 2 to 3 months and then I do a weekly order at Walmart. I also shop The Pig, Kroger, and Aldi for specific things that week that I can get cheaper than Walmart based on sales ads. My entire meal plan is based on budget so I have to be smart. Again, can't tell you how much I adore this.
Good Afternoon Marie & Calvin,I try to stock my pantry & spice cabinet also. This kind of shopping is so useful.Right now I am low on puddings, canned milk etc so I will be going between 6:00 & 6:30 in the morning.Take care & have a great week.❤️
Smart to have a stock of food supply..One just never knows if there could be a time of great need for the items in y'all's pantry. Better safe than sorry...❤
I try to keep my groceries in 2 in my pantry. When I get to the last one, I buy 2 more. I am the same age as yall but single so it is kinda hard to use big bottles of condiments. I love Duke's mayonnaise so I bought a big jar this time. I have really not bought too many groceries because I am moving. It is hard to cook when you are moving. I am trying to move most of my things myself but the movers are coming next Wednesday. My back is about to give out on me. We had very bad storms yesterday in Gastonia so I am not even going out today. We had lots of power outages, 1 death, and the beautiful trees in our area are down. Where I am moving to, I got a email from my power company that there was a power outage. I hope they get it on back soon for them. We were on a tornado warning but we get alot of straight line winds in our area. It was a really bad storm. I live in North Carolina, usually our mountains block alot of our storms but this one was so bad. Yall have a great day, be safe.
Iam 46 but i start prepping almost 1 year i love to watch your vedio..iam from Sweden our government warnnus to be prepared for 2 weeks food for incase but im happy for my prepping i think we can leave 1 year of our prepping food but still im thinking and focusing in water now and little more food
You just got a new subscriber. Found your video and really enjoyed it. I relate to the elders because I am one. You seem like such sweet people. Look forward to watching more. Have a great day.
Alabama lost their peach crop last year due to bad weather at the wrong time. Not so this year. 2 things I can't buy of Great Value brand is Worcestershire sauce & soy sauce. I buy Heinz Worcestershire & get my soy sauce from the Asian market. This video is inspiring, I learned a lot, God bless
Nice to see your Walmart had lots of available electric carts. My Walmart has that many that are inoperable. Makes my shopping at Walmart a zero these days.
i just found your channel today and i've already subscribed! Currently i cannot get out to do my own grocery shopping so i really enjoyed this video. I felt like i was right there with you two! I really appreciate hearing the prices of items!
If you have an aldi near you, their Burman’s bbq sauce is a good dupe for Sweet Baby Ray’s original for about $1.65. They also have those ranch dry packets for .55¢
Thanks very much. We do have an Aldi in our town but we don't go there often because of where it is located. I forgot to get the ranch packets on that haul but I ordered 4 on our grocery pickup for this morning. The great value packets are .50 at Walmart. I'll get my daughter to pickup a bottle of the Burman's bbq sauce for us to try. She likes going to Aldi.
I make my own brownie mix it makes a 8x 8 pan which is just right for me and my husband. It’s just takes 1 cup of sugar 1/2 of AP flour 1/3 cup cocoa 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder. When you get ready to bake it you just add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup oil and a tsp of vanilla. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. I make up a bunch of bags. You can add chocolate chips and nuts to the dry mix. I’ve make these bags up and give them for Christmas gifts.
Good evening Calvin and Marie Good haul. I was at my local grocery shop on Monday for a few items but my bill was near $200. I have trouble finding canned peaches too.
My mother always bought Freestone Peaches there was one brand that was outstanding. I think Freestone Peaches are non existent today. Canned Apricots are also difficult to find.
Hi Calvin and Marie, Marie did you get your hip injection? I always like to stock up and get extras, especially in wintertime in Ohio. You never know about a snow storm. Take Care!
❤It is always great to have on hand pantry items that you use repeatedly. It always annoyed me to get into making something and be lacking one ingredient. This was very smart imo. Marie, you seemed to be walking well. Can’t remember when your inj was scheduled for. Praying you’re feeling better. Hope Addison enjoys her doughnuts ! Bless all of you! ❤🙏🏻
Good morning Calvin and Marie, that was a great haul i do the same myself and you are giving great ideas to ppl that would need ideas to save money and maybe even some recipes with this haul .. thank you for what you do everyday love the both of you as my own family .. sending prayers and sunshine 🌞 your way ❤
I like your shopping trips. I live in Canada but I cross the border about 4-5 times a year to shop. Your trips let me see what is cheaper there to get on my list. Thank you.
So wonderful to see such a sweet couple... Subbed Thank you so much for sharing!! Happy Mother's Day!! *God bless you and your family Stay Safe* I'm a woman on my husband's account 40 yr marriage. ❤
I love the south my roots are there... People are so much more kinder... I was shocked when I moved to my home town here in Illinois and How people treated their customers... It took me forever to except it all.. They are very different people everywhere here... I'm glad I was able to not let it change my kind nature... So thankful to God for seeing that I didn't... 🌹❤️🙏💯
I am so glad to see y'all staying stocked up. I do the same. I also refrigerate ketchup, mustard, Mayo packs from restaurants for back up to my back up. Lol. Marie I made the Tuna burgers for my friends at work and everyone loved them and had to have your recipe. They are now watching y'all .
Hello! I’m a new subscriber! Just found you all today! Love the haul! Thanks for sharing! Can’t wait to watch more videos! Love from New York (upstate, not NYC😊)!
My refrigerator quit so had to use up in one day the mayo mustard and search the coolest places in my house.. so to open a large perishable thing like mayo could be a really big waste.
Yes, if we lose electricity then we wouldn't open any new products that require refrigerator. We have had storms before and loss electricity for several days and we have to throw away any food that was in the refrigerator that we couldn't cook up right away.
I just found your channel. The peaches are hard to find because of a freeze or storm that killed a lot of the crop. Great Value canned fruit is better than name brand!!! It tastes fresh and is firm not soggy it is all I buy. Their Light Mayo and there peanut butter is really good to the only cheap brands I like.
