Researching this pedal I've learned it's true name in English is recurring dreams. Love the tones and demo. Thank you so much for reviewing this fine piece of gear. Cheers😅
Love you, brother! I honestly kind of wish I would've waited cause I like the design on this a lot better than the national park series. Fantastic video as always!
Excellent, very thorough explanation of this pedal!! Am I correct in that the Slotva does not accommodates a 9 volt battery? That would have been worth mentioning if that is the case (I hate using a "wall wart"). SLOTVA: Sending Likes On The Video Amigo 😁 🤣
I also don't like too much wibbly wobbly with my delays or reverbs. I find people reviewed this pedal and others with rather high modulation. Thanks for doing what you do.
It’s fine if what you play over the sustained wash is dry because most people that use these sorts of pedals are going to have other delays and reverbs on their boards down chain from this that can then effect your melody. That’s dreampop/shoegaze 101.
I like this guy. If I’m scouring RU-vid for demos of a particular pedal, and I see that Andy has a video about it, I know it’ll be his honest opinion without any influence from anyone. 👍🏼👍🏼 from NYC!
Thanks. I'm not a big fan of too much warble in clean mode. Too dramatic. But in front of dirt, pedals it's totally different. I think this can be the best modulation reverb to chain to a fuzz or distortion. It gives a nice musical warbly wave of distortion. You can adapt it perfectly to the amount of distortion/fuzz and speed of playing with all those modulation knobs.
Great review! In swedish slö means "lazy" and två means "two". I don't know if the name of the pedal is connected to the swedish lanuage in any way but the letters "å" and "ö" is very specific to the swedish alphabet.
Wonderful job. I also don't like too much wobble in the settings, so I applaud your demo. Several other reviews of the Slotva had far too much modulation. One demo I just had to stop listening. Count me subscribed!
