I have the 5" PDP (as well as the SD Pro Compact), but the PDP's do not come w/ the DPT like the Pro...so I went ahead and ordered 1 from Walther since they are back in stock. I did add a Floyd Magwell, Taylor Freelance brass Backstrap, as well as +6 mag extension (also from Floyds) to my SD Pro Compact. I went w/ the Holosun SCS Greendot as it does not require a base plate to mount to the slide. I have the same upgrades on my 5" (but only +4 mag ext) and a Leupold DPP RDS...but think I will put the DPP onto an AR build and pick up another SCS Green dot and place it on the 5"...the streamline/flat install is a nice and clean look.
That’s sound like a badass setup. That’s why I love this pistol so much. Walther really checkoff everything I would change on a pistol at a affordable price range!!!
I live in South Africa maybe because of geographic demarcation I can't buy it here in South Africa because a lot of gun shops are not selling walther guns, make it very difficult to buy it. So I have fallen in love with Walther PDP Pro SD. Based on your knowledge is there anyway I can import it from other countries or is there anyway I can able to buy it?
I have zero knowledge on being able to get this gun to you. But I wish you the best of luck on getting your hands on one because it’s definitely worth it.
Great video. I love mine. I added a Holosun 407k, the Walther RSA 50N Tungsten guide rod. I also added the large backstrap and love it but it isn't cut for the magwell so I lose the magwell.
Does that guide rod work suppressed and unsuppressed? I normally like a smaller magwell but in my opinion it just work on this gun. Definitely an awesome pistol.
Yeah I know what you mean after first shooting it it’s like butter, but I’m salty I don’t have that dynamic trigger it’s been out of stock since last year lol
I would love to get a suppressor. But unfortunately I have convictions about certain things. I cannot in good conscious pay for a tax stamp that was created just for the super rich to be the ones that could afford them. $200 is the equivalent of about $4600 today. That is as absurd and arbitrary as the 1000% tax on ARs that has been proposed.
If you’re refusing to buy it for that reason then you’re literally reinforcing the original intent of the law. If the tax stamp hasn’t increased in pice in 90 years, the government is obviously not still making it prohibitively expensive. So you’re protesting something that stopped being true in the 60’s.
@@bigdopamine9343 well that, and I believe that constitutional infringement with monetary gain is wrong. And I don't want anything registered with the ATF.
