Wario and Waluigi *are* brothers, but we'll NEVER know now; in the end of "Yoshi's Island DS", rather than be returned to his parents, Baby Wario goes treasure hunting. This means he could be Waluigi's brother, but, like I said, we'll _never_ *know* now, will we? Furthermore, Foreman Spike IS Waluigi's father... EDIT - It's the same thing as with the Koopalings from "Super Mario Bros. 3"; they *are not* Bowser's kids in that they are not _biologically_ his blood decendants, but they *are* his kids in that he ADOPTED them and trained them to be part of his military structure. Appearantly, the seven are orphans from four different families on whom Bowser shown mercy...

Them being called brothers was a blunder. According to Shugo Takahashi Wario and Waluig are not brothers, blood related, or even friends. Charles Martinet claim they are not brothers but "two nice, evil guys who found each other." Canonically they only work together in sports and karting events. They weren't intended to be related from the start.

I believe Wario and Waluigi are a couple that act like an old married couple. Kind of a Jesse and James vibe.

Probably not canon to the games 1992 Japanese manga comics, Mario land 1 and Mario land 2 in Mario land 2 Wario, corrupted, princess, daisy, and she became WalDaisy Then waldaisy went to Tatanga's planet and corrupted his people The Mario brothers and princess peach went to rescue her, but they had to hide using familiar video game disguises such as statues. To try to fool, princess, daisy, and corrupted people on that planet. But WalDaisy seen through their disguises, and first went to break Luigi out of his statue form, knowing that he has a crush on her and is the weakest. Offering tickets to a movie and offering to go on a date, but that didn’t work so she put her dress over top of Luigis statue, giving him a view up her dress, and he broke from his statue form and it corrupted his mind turning him into Waluigi!
