You really sold this bag for me. I was trying to decide between this and the Brevite Roamer for two weeks. I could not decide to save my life. It consumed me daily. I watched videos, read reviews, constantly flipped back and forth on which one I wanted. It crept into my dreams at night, but your amazing review put my mind at ease. I can now sleep tonight knowing I made the right choice.
I’ve admired this bag since it was on Kickstarter. Just pulled the trigger this week based on Chase’s review and got the 21L. Received today. Chase did not lie! Very impressed with build quality and it carries very well. I’m a retired professional photographer and I wanted a bag to carry my camera stuff but also other stuff. I think this will work as a weekend bag if I pack efficiently. For those looking to pack a little more clothes, I would recommend the 30L. I wanted the 21L to make sure I met backpack carry restrictions for places like Disneyland. Thanks Chase! Love all of your videos with your expert opinion!
Other than podcasts, I have never been able to watch long ass videos or reviews like these ones. I usually don't even click on a review longer than 10 min. But these ones for some reason I enjoy and watch the whole thing!!! Lol and this guy talks about backpacks! How weird are we?
Thanks for a great review!! Love insane geekiness in any shape or form. Just bought a 21 l w photography bundle and can't wait to go one-bag traveling with it. Also really appreciate your awareness of the underrepresentation of "lady entrepreneurs". As a woman entrepreneur, it really feels like a man's world and I take all the support and cheering on that I can get. So thanks!
@@bsh932 I am so happy with it! Of course there would be more room for clothes with the 31 l, but since I have a small frame, it would be too large on me for my taste. (I'm 170 cm. My dad is 190 cm and has the 31 l. It looks on him like the 21 l looks on me proportion wise :) ) I'd say, I can fit enough for a weekend trip. In regards to my equipment, its perfect for the small bundle: I have three lenses, a Sony a6500, a shotgun mic and a pouch with cables/chargers. On the flap, I have a laptop, ipad, batteries, mouse, sd cards, pencils etc. In the front, I often have a book, headphones/earplugs in the side pocket and sunglasses, lip balm etc. in the top pocket. It's just so comfortable, that everything has it's place. Especially, when you're on the go and can be quite distracted. I find, my things don't get lost, like they usually do 😅 Quality wise, it's premium quality imo. I have not been especially kind to my bag, but it still looks great, no discoloration (I have the Obi tan) or broken seems. Everything feels very robust. Btw, I am not completely sure the 31 l will fit under an airplane seat (European flight, maybe American airlines/Intercontinental flights have more space?). I use mine as a carry-on, and it only just fits! So that's worth having in mind, if you travel a lot by plane. Hope it helps!
Finally a 40 min review!!! There is nothing better than leaving work, and seeing a notification that a new Chase review is available. Thanks Chase. I SERIOUSLY WANT TO THANK YOU for continuing to do this. and your Mrs for allowing you ;) (Thanks Mrs Reeves). Awesome PRVKE bags but my search continues to find a 7 day backpack for a Nov. trip to Chicago, Tokyo and Bangkok.
that's what happened to me at the camera store yesterday, I looked literally at 50 bags, and on my way out of the store I saw this bag, and I was like "buh bye" and I took it straight to the cash register and they were like "um, sir, let me get you one that's not the floor model"
CHASE! Been watching alot of ur bags review, and honestly ur amazing, less formal more sense of humor oriented and how much ur genuine enthusiast about bags. Lastly, the part I love the most from your review the fact you fill it to the rim which makes it very to decide which bag to choose (always do this please). Thank very much and keep up the good work
READ THIS IF YOU'RE STREET BRO (Skateboarder): I ended up buying this after the review. I'm going to take a trip to India for 8 days and this is all I'm going to take. Although I haven't taken a trip with it I do have one comment on it. Chase's comment on a skateboard, yes you can fit a board (I tested a penny) but the straps don't really hold it very comfortable. It put's too much weight on the back and makes the backpack lean back. So instead of staying straight on your back there's now an angle in the wrong direction. So gotta tighten it or artificially add weight down. Not ideal.
I've had this bag nearly two years now from Kickstarter. It's traveled the world with me: Laos, China, Croatia, Spain, New York, Korea, Dubai, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam... I like it and hate it at the same time. I learned to pack heavy stuff at the bottom of the pack, but all of the camera stuff go there, so a lot of the time my backpack is very top-heavy. I do like the convenience of it with the mesh easy access to bypass the top rucksack part, but at the same time I never know how to pack clothes into there properly. I wished they added a thick strap to go over suitcase handles. I always have to snap down my straps around those.
Hi can I ask you when you use this bag in middle east (in hot wather) do you feel not comfortable because its make you sweating because the design or the material?
Grabbed myself a glass of wine as I knew I was in for a treat a few mins in 😂 there is a new version of this I’ll probably get but staying for the show
I came to watch a review of the WANDRD PRVKE but stayed to just listen and watch your personality shine, hilarious. Seriously you made watching a review of something actually interesting and fun! SUBSCRIBED...and I'm only 10 minutes in!
weird...watched 10 seconds later and you basically said "you're gonna like following along, subscribe"...How did you know what i was thinking before it happened.....
Literally no other reviewer I saw talked about removing that middle divider to make it one deep pocket and I just wanted to know if it’s removable. THANK YOU!!!
clicked on the video to check it out and see if I would like it, 5 minutes in, I check to see how much longer the video is and realized it's freaking 40 mins!!! But I did indeed watch entirely because you sir are very informative and entertaining! The fact that you know ykk 8 and 6 is just amazing ahaha, thanks for the review!
Well Chase, I'll refollow you here as well. Request! Please get your hands on the Waterfield Airporter. They start shipping tomorrow and I would love to have you get a quick review out!
sold...your review completely answered my questions about being able to use for daily as well as 1-2 night biz travel...thanks for a terrific and thorough review!
There are various types of camera backpacks! I also wanted this camera bag ♬ Video Very easy to understand and interesting‼ Thank you. With love from Japan :)
Hey Chase, I finally found another RU-vidr as crazy as me, but reviewing bags instead of cameras. Well, you're crazier than me, but in a good way. Keep up the good work and perhaps we can collaborate on a bag review in the future. Subscribed.
Your camera reviews are very very crazy haha. I watched all your 40 minute Fuji reviews and I treat your reviews as TV shows lol. So are his bag reviews.
ha ha, thanks, ya same as Chase's bag reviews. My wife thinks he's nuts which lets me know he's awesome! I watch one video while making lunch and then eating it.
I have bags under my eyes with enthusiasm for this channel! ... one thing that I'm worried about... with a DSLR and lenses and a laptop, all the weight of the entire bag is being held by the zipper portion where the straps attach? i.e. the clamshell zipper has to support all of it? That doesn't look like a great idea.
Interesting, the dating of this video. There is no peak design packing cube, or the newer Dopp kits. Yeah, I will watch the newer version. So this bag does fit under the seat in front of you. I do not know how many of these PRVKE videos to find this out. I’m interested in this bag, because it is not just black. I believe two years ago I used your link to get my Cotopaxi alpaca bag to get home after COVID hit. Though SAS made me check the bag in Chicago. Something about space, however there were only 34 of us in economy, maybe 8 in business/first class. They stayed afloat with transport goods. Sometimes I wish you were still in Portland, I think you and my brother up in Portland would have hit it off as friends. yeah I have never gotten a TSA agent, that would take the TSA friendly computer check. I will be going home to Oregon later this spring.
Took this bag to Bali, love it and took the trip like a champ. My only complaint would be that every time I wore the bag. It would make my back sweat almost instantly. It probably was just the weather, but it got smelly after some time. But the bag itself is dope
My goodness, your video is so amazing. I diidn't think I would be able to watch the entire thing but i did!! Your presentation style and the video production reminds me of Good Morning Mythical, which is fantastic! Really helpful information in this video too!
This might be the perfect bag to get in the market now! Thank you so much for this review Chase! Might get it for my upcoming trip and permanent on the go bag!
This is the first video I've seen on your channel. You are a great reviewer, only for the fact that your are able to sustain that energy man!! (PS. Subscribed)
I've binge watched your videos since I heard of you like 3 weeks ago. Super insightful and you are funny as hell. Not to mention, I'll be visiting ALO (for Campfire Audio IEM's) in PLand next week. Best wishes from Hillsboro and thank you so much for the great perspectives and reviews! BTW, did you ever see that Kickstarter for the Visvo? That was a dope looking bag.
you won me man, came here out of curiosity about the bag and enjoyed a couple more videos. I really enjoyed your content, another subscriber to the list ^ ^
thanks Chase for this review. it was very helpful to make a decision of purchasing this bag; although, I did have trouble deciding for either the 21 or the 31. anyways, keep the excellent reviews.
I've just watched a 40m video of a bag Im never gonna buy but this guy is awesome! You got yourself a new subscriber! Would you do a video about techie bags? Like one for carrying laptop, headphones, lots of laptop cables, usb drives, external hard drives etc....?
I never have trouble with the TSA. I travel for two months straight during the summer and 3 or 4 times during the rest of the year and love using that flap that comes down for my laptop (I have a lot of bags that have it) and I never have been asked to take it out and put it in a bin. Perhaps you look a bit sketch! LOL :) Great video!
Hey Chase! Thanks for putting so much work in your reviews. I really enjoy this. As a pack guy myself, I'm pretty sure there is no size 6 YKK zipper. It's probably a size 5. Whatsoever, I'm on your side when it comes to size, of zippers! Specially when the compression webbing is sewn to the edge. Keep up the good work!
I like this backpack for such as you said 'bulk'. This bag is too pricey for me for now. But I will add it to my wishlist. My current Ebags professional is about 21 liter and feels too small because of structure.
Hello, how r u? I liked your bag and want to buy one but wanna ask; i have canon 5d mark iii and big lensess ( tamron 100-400, tamron 70-200 and canon 24-105) what do you think is it fit camera cube for my all lens and camera body? Thank you very much 👍🏻
Great review as usual lol. This is an awesome bag but I really hate that they didn’t make a lot of things standard. For a $185 bag, people still have to pay for straps for the bottom and another $35 for camera insert. Also wish the front pocket isn’t just a huge one flat pocket. It can’t be used for anything other than paper.
I love these reviews. I ended up purchasing the Qwstion Office Bag for daily use. But I was really drawn to the Wandrd Prvke 25. i wanted something that fit that look w/ the direct access to the computer sleeve. Why is that such a 'new' feature. Business people were carrying laptops since the early 90's.
New subcriber here! Loving your videos man. You're making me addicted to backpacks like my wife is to handbags! Would love to see you review the Brevite Rolltop!
Nice review man, thinking of getting the 21 as a urban backpack or for day trip. I own a couple of F Stop mountain series but they are just too bulky for city stuff.
Nice bag but bafeld why there isnt any load lifters on the top shoulder harness . So the zipper is suppose to handle all the load? thats not good. They could of done a better job on the rain cover looks more like a glad garbage bag lol.
considering this is literally just a bag review, I laughed way to much!!!! great video dude, and the bag looks really great as well.. cheers for the great bag review and making me laugh! :)
