>teacher asks for akio to come to school tomorrow >he says ok >next day come to school but leave early >teacher can't argue against him cuz technically he came to school >thug life music intensifies
Normal drivers: "I'm driving over 200kph. I need to stay focused and clear my mind of any distractions." Reina: *Suddenly has an existential crisis out of nowhere*
@@yamato6114 they do that more now but it's not like they can catch cars that move that fast and to be honest the midnight club is still in effect to this day.
Teen delinquency in Japan is considered not attending class, but has two jobs. But in the U.S., teen delinquency is not attending class but robbing liquor stores, doing drugs, vandalism,.... I can keep going but too many to list.
It's actually getting annoying that there's so many people comparing Initial D to Wangan Midnight. I'm a Initial D fan too but stop being dumb and comparing those two.
Well the thing is most people have 0 knowledge about highway racing and cars, so they see this and think it's the same as a 1/4 drag race and don't see how difficult highway racing can be. Also I think Wangan Midnight is based on a true story about a S30z and 911 that used to run the Wangan.
DryBones81 and then your in the arcade and right when you are about to win, a fourth guy comes out of nowhere and "A NEW CHALLENGER HAS APPEARED!" has displayed on your screen. you finish the race last. the guy in first place has 200 stars on his car
1. Reina needs a new tach. 2. Her car scrapes the wall, takes massive damage to the side. 3. How the hell does a Skyline GT-R spin out that easily on 220kph? If it was a Skyline GTS-T I would understand. 4. (Not connected to the anime) Why the don't they have a Ferrari WMMT5DX+? They have a Ferrari in the movie.
Just That Tanker first of all , Reina was traveling at 300kmh already , and 2nd , Ferrari are shitty cars on normal roads , they come with racing tyres instead of sports tyres , clearly many not know this
@@hybridShinx she wasn't driving at 300. Even after it gets modified she rarely reaches that speed. Also how does your second point answer his question?
8:15 explains how he has so much money, both parents are rich and divorced so all he has to do us ask one of them for money and they'll pay so that he loves them more
@@driffbro3380 his morals is my analysis he stated in earlier episode that he started working overtime for his first car after his father loaned him half the price, I think he matured to the point where u want to pull your own weight out of respect for your parents or something like that
There's something I really like about this anime. Despite the stupid crashes, they really nailed the "nobody who isn't car person could understand" feeling. That and I really relate to Akio. My sileighty has been hit and rammed so many times. I just keep fixing it and coming back with a better car.
SuPeRxLiNk999 I have to admit but being touge is far more harder, worrying if there is a car coming at the next turn, turning at top speed in narrow mountain pass, it is far more tougher than just dodging cars, though dodging in 200km/h is quite hard too
btw, the closest you can o this car is either heavily modding a L28 (even then it maxes out at 500 hp) or doing engine swaps, probably the best is a RB26DETT swap.
chuk90 Tbh I don't know why it loses its balance because of AWD, the only way I could imagine it spinning out is because she pulled the handbrake or somethin... or maybe I'm over analyzing things 😂
every lorry in Japan when seeing multiple cars speeding at 200+ km/h from miles away on the other lane: guess I'm about to end some anime character's career
The Official Anderson Style points won't do anything in a real race. And it will just make them slower. Plus they wouldn't even be able to actually drift at the speeds they drive.
dude ppl in this anime can't fckn drive when reina started to lose grip she was just straight up bracing for impact and not trying to get the car back on track. she even closed her eyes lmao
*I've only driven a sim on both touge and this highway.* I can state it is a lot harder to pick up the line of a touge (in which way you take each corner every run.) But after you've gotten used to it, it's quite simple, heel + toe, clutch kicking, slip angle, left foot braking. But it takes a while to be mastered trying to fight the wheel at every moment. A good touge battle can have you legit sweating. It's hard to keep up. The corners get faster and faster, it's truly beautiful. However with highway racing on a sim you have to know the lines the same way a touge operates but- you are going 120+kph over what you're doing on the touge those cars are a different beast to finally get the handle of. On my sim there are no other cars making it so much easier than if there were cars. Since I can follow a specific line each time and know I can take it at (X) speed. Both take a really long time to comprehend and understand fully or atleast at a competitive level. Stop comparing inital D to wangan midnight. Both are amazing shows and I love both driving styles. It shows a lovely form of art we should all just sit back and appreciate. Note:I have never driven on a touge or have driven that fast on a highway so I could only imagine how terrifying it could actually be. I just like games. :)
reina's existential crisis felt so emotionally beautiful. Her using cars to escape from her life is so weirdly relatable, compared to Akio she seems nore relatable. Akio so far is just a lover and crazy nutjob.
there is a similar nissan to that down my street but it needs some body work, the model is different and I don't think its tuned that well but I might consider buying it one day if its for sale.
I am sure I am the only one that downloads the Opening and the main OST, and sets it as my ringtone. Also, everybody seems to be prepared to be "killed" by the Devil's Z after seeing it. LOL
how is reina not dead after a crash on a highway at 180+km/h? look at the car, it's pretty much beaten up and she can still calmly ask akio about wangan
at first it was getting intresting but now if u take a closer look he is wasting he's life just to drive around the same road again and again really it's getting point less
Am I the only one that notices that the only other cars on the freeway every time they're driving are the same white Toyota Celcior/Lexus LS400, Chevrolet Astro, a Kei van and, flatbed truck? Just thought that was interesting.
I really don't want to be mean, but Initial D set such an enormous bar when it came to racing anime that this just doesn't compare to me, its genuinely really hard to watch.
