This is going to sound really strange but the thing that got me into crow was an analogy that a yoga teacher once said to me. When you're in crow position ready to lift your feet, come forward and shrug your shoulders away from the ground as if you are picking up heavy shopping bags. It works because it gives the legs some height and gives your arms more resistance to not cave in when you're in crow.

Thank you, Charlie!! I hope you could share how to do those toe taps. Unable to straighten legs. I guess when you lean forward, that’s gonna automatically happen 🤔

Thanks for this video Charlie! Is there a general rule we should follow for these inverted stands? Should we master the handstand first (for example) and then try a shoulder stand or headstand?

Hey everyone is different. I started with headstand, then learned forearmstand and then handstand. Some people go straight to handstand. I think it's down to you to decide as there is no right or wrong order.

Thank you. I feel I've developed the core and leg strength. But, my upper body strength still has some work. Though I know that's true across the board. I just feel like my upper body is my weakest area. As I tend to engage my core and legs more often, even for weight lifting exercises, it feels they are constantly being worked.

U make it look so easy ... My right leg isnt too hard but my left, and doing both my goodness... Im trying !!! Ive recently hurt my left, like inside hip crease area, idk what i did but even childs pose hurts that spot. But I'm not giving up, just not pushong myslf as hard at the moment ... And toe taps😂 thats so difficult for me ,specially my left side forget both sides right now lol i will get it tho I am determined... I love ur videos charlie !!! U make me so proud of myslf u really make my day !!!

I find the tap hole so... HARD! I am a flexible person and can touch my chest and thighs when on forward bend, but when trying to step it forward, my legs don't seem to want to go forward. Any tips, please? 🙏🏼
