Ay yo guys chill. This guy hangs out with the revive skate team. He's an awesome skater. He takes the damn chance to show you to make something cooler out of your board.
Exactly. What, because he has glasses, stress in his life, not the best editor, and not an amazing artist all these little kids and trolls are trashing him. Little shits need to go out and skateboard instead of talking about how they don't like somebody because of their personal insecurities about being immature children or the joy of writing annoying stuff online.
You kids don't understand. Growing up in the 90's, most skaters were broke and usually in the hood and rap talked about 40oz beer, and it's usually cheap/low quality. But poor people bragged about drinking them, even though most non-poor people are like "wtf you nasty hobo".
He didn't mean in all of painting. He obviously meant its the hardest of the techniques he's showing you. But I guess if you're simple minded you wouldn't get it at first.
@@vermillion.clouds o gosh this was 6 years ago. basically i used crayons on my skateboard. to make art. that's it. Oil based crayons and simply drew directly on the grip tape
I haven't skated in like 15 years, and idk how I happened upon this vid, but this guy's humor and sarcasm reminded me of Eric from Tony Hawks Underground! Lmao I thoroughly enjoyed this. Now I wanna grip on up myself!
how long will it last? I never used paint on griptape. Will it go away after a couple rides? I ride a slalomboard, but I don't think it makes a difference
i have used spray paint on grip once it ended up turning my griptape completely smooth so its wasnt really grip tape more like smooth tape what did i do wrong
That's a terrible grip job. .__. The edges were uneven and excessively sanding down the edge of the grip tape removed the polyurethane coating on the sides of the deck.
Eugene Rhee A decent board shouldn't snap in the first place. This argument is about the grip tape, not the life the life of the board. If you can apply the grip tape correctly, why not do it?
well the average lifespan of a decent board is a month or shorter if you can skate gnarly (longer if you're getting the basics) but when you say a "terrible" griptape job...trust me i've seen worse. Ninja dude did a decent job gripping the board
Honestly, that looks like total shit. There are so many options these days for grip tape graphics it's insane. You can literally have any image you want printed on grip tape. This spray painting technique is not only "tacky" it's so like 80's or 90's. I didn't care for it. It wouldn't impress me if I saw it done at a skatepark. It obviously looks like hurried hand crafted looking shit to be honest, I got sick ass designs for griptape on my boards.
