Thank you for this great info. I have been teaching English online for a couple of years now. However, since I have been trying to leave the country to teach English abroad to adults, I realised that I need to get TEFL or CELTA certified. I studied linguistics in school, so I understand language acquisition from a linguistic point of view. I do RU-vid content to help second language learners reduce their accents to a near-native British accent. Someone mentioned getting TEFL certified from Bridge Edu, and I came online to see any reviews. Thanks for the review; however, it seems quite expensive, especially in Africa where a minimum wage is less than 2 dollars per hour. The TEFL course is now 389 dollars. isn't there a way one can get it cheaper than that? Or is there a way one can pay in installments and get the certificate once they are done paying? I need to get the certificate as quickly as possible.

Great question. There are places where it could be cheaper to obtain. But there are schools or students who might not accept the cheaper ones because the lessons might not have the same rigor. The Bridge Edu program is not a fast one to complete. It took me over a year. Plus, I completed 300 hours. The cost and content depend on how many hours you're seeking.

I can't think of any right now. But I'll definitely be posting a video about it soon. I would say do some deep research. The most important thing is the type of credential and accreditation.

@beansstark1389 There is no guaranteed placement. They offer workshops and support that helps you to network and find opportunities on your own.
