As a Nigerian woman who has lots of brothers what you said is so true, Nigeria men are not that complicated they’re just different if they like you you will know they like you. Just don’t try too hard to seduce them or prove yourself he’s only gonna use you for sex and always pay attention to the things they say even when joking cause they tend to say what they want every now and then😊

It's so much hype like Nigerian men are the only men out here. Listening to the different sites especially the men pages it's like they expect everyone to change their lives to satisfy a person who chose to come to a different country with a different culture. Why should others conform to their culture. It's not many women here in America that's going to allow a man female relative disrespect them. And the Mothers are not going to allow those female to disrespect her daughters. Who wants to be in a relationship with anyone whose family doesn't want you and a person who has to abide by their elders decisions. And it should be the other person decisions if they want to be involved with a married person.

I’m currently dealing with a 27 year old Igbo guy who acts soooo interested and whenever I’m around him he seriously can’t stop staring can’t stop being sweet, however he doesn’t pursue. His energy is just regular asf. Barely shows actual effort & I’ve dated a librarian and a Nigerian man who called texted me throughout the day to see how I was doing make sure I’ve eaten made sure I met his friends ect But with this guy he claims that he is just kind of insecure because he just got to the states a year or so ago Im Yoruba but I was born and raised in America. Smh idk he is confusing but im giving him a chance because the energy that I received from those other 2 Africans was love bombing so idk if I should compare him to them but he seriously is starting to make me not like him anymore

My igbo man doesn't pursue either. He believes the woman should beg for forgiveness if he goes quiet after an argument. But they won't pursue like text throughout the day or even do some things for you emotionally to make you feel more comfortable. They are very hidden with their emotions and letting people in.

Literally does everything except persue me. Probably because he knows I always come back no matter what. So he doesn't feel the need to chase after me. Idk. That's a bad habit of mine always chasing. I'm afraid of abandonment, and he seems abit more avoidant and comfortable knowing I will come back. He tells everyone about me and let's them all know that his marrying me (we have everything already booked). But he is immature. He has not had a proper girlfriend before except online. His friends also have a bad influence on him I think. At least I assume. They seem immature too. Seems to be a Nigerian thing. They don't seem to have much emotional maturity
