Been machining on fanuc controlled lathes since early 2010. They all had conversational programming. The one thing I miss from the older ones (before IHMI) was the shortcuts when you use the numerical keys. If you press 1 and hit input its the same as pressing the most left key below the display (apart from the arrow keys). When you get into it enough, you don't even need to look at the screen to program a whole part. I had the drawing in my left hand and just glanced at the screen now and then. If this is new to you, I highly recommend giving it a try. You will be programming faster than ever

Fanuc has had conversational since the 80's. I had a Fanuc 6ML 1984 control with full conversational graphics and full milling canned cycles all in colour believe it or not 😉

Yes, i have used that. It was called Fanuc Fapt. It was kinda like cadcam, and i liked that. They stopped selling that in the early 2000;th unfortionally.

I really enjoy the manual guide, but it need some background in iso for the beginners. Also, i have to mention that the code from manual guide can be converted to pure iso, just with a click, so that the program can be used in any Fanuc or Iso machine.

Used a Hitachi Seiki lathe from the 80s with Fanuc 3tf which had FAPT. very good auto programming tool.

I have used the Fapt to, back in the days. I dond understand why they stopped selling it.

Siemens Shop Turn, feel different, nie zachwycałbyś się takim badziewiem. Fanuc jest 100 lat za murzynami, bez jakiegoś sensownego CAMa nie zrobisz tu nic ciekawego, akurat od 3 miesięcy robię na czymś takim.
