I retired from painting 15 years ago. I was doing this before I retired. So not new to me but very informative. I used a Wagner as well.Mine was designed for a gallon , but like him I used a 5 gallon bucket. I agree with him. It's worth the investment.
Thank you! I was quite impressed with it. I expected it to be messy, but I didn’t have any problems with it dripping. It worked better than expected and probably went twice as fast as a traditional roller.
I used one on 4 apartment units and my elastomeric roof coating. Definitely saves time with 5 gallon buckets. Just can't use standard roller. Needs to be special one for Wagner with perforated holes.
Agreed. The rollers do cost a little more. But it’s totally worth it. Especially if you are doing something like multi family where you are painting several apartments at a time and they are all the same color. It saves so much time! I haven’t ever tried it with a roof coating.
