Unlimited drink and a dinner/apps for $100 almost pays for itself. Hope to see a similar event at next year's PAX west

Here's an idea - don't do any "VIP" shit and everybody who buys a ticket to show up has equal access to anything and an equal chance for everything. Let's all just party, without some people feeling special and other people feeling worse. Don't "tier" us when we're all in the same room.

Glad to see the train moving along. Some mistakes have occurred in the last couple of weeks but happy to see that there's *something* happening aside from "we messed up". If I can go, I'd probably sink the change towards a ticket because $100 for unlimited drinks (within responsible levels) all night is an amazing deal.

I love this idea (and am mad jealous I won't have the chance to attend). If I was going out for a meal with friends and planning to go for drinks after, I could EASILY see myself spending $100. So to pay that upfront to go to a cool party where I can stuff my face for 2 hours and then drink as much as I wanted, all the while hanging out with like mined people, playing ping pong or board games on some dope tables, that seems like an easy yes to me.

There are many wyrmwood folks I would love to meet (I've already met a lot of them), and the party sounds pretty good, I'd be interested... but 100% I need someplace to get away from the noise. PAX has had AFK spaces and quiet rooms for a while, but parties... usually don't. And I work PAX East, so I'm there ALL day listening to the crowds. Any chance you guys might have some AFK space for us introverted neurodivergent geeks?

Definitely want a VIP ticket for this and live in Massachusetts so transporting a table back with us would be easy. I need that golden ticket!

OMG you're doing your event at a Ping Pong venue...on the weekend of a PAX event? lmao talk about the universe lining up...the folks at Penny Arcade are the most kick-ass ping-pong players ever lol. They literally have a cutthroat system in house to determine who makes their team to play against so many other companies...I am guessing Mike and Jerry would be over the moon to hear about these plans at this venue! Amazing! By the way Spin would do well to use your video showcasing their venue because it was absolutely stunning. Cheers, I would be very surprised if this didn't sell out quickly.

I think having the top tier compete for a Prophecy table is fine, but don’t give them extra chances at winning the regular tables. It would feel really annoying if a bunch of regular tables were won by the top tier on top of them getting chance at at a Prophecy table.

I would pay extra for a meet & greet with Dale and James.

This sounds like an unwelcoming event tailored to a small subset of your audience and customers. I think you *could* throw an awesome event for the community that advances your brand, but this seems more like an awesome event for Bobby. Like, you know what nerds famously love? Participating in competitive sports.

If Wyrmwood can sponsor my flight from Down Under to Boston I'd buy a VIP ticket in a heartbeat. That'd be the best graduation gift! Mark it as a company expense and then I can carry my MGT back on the plane

Great venue. Some thoughts: Can you justify renting this place out for the whole weekend to use as your off-site headquarters? You could then segregate part of the venue as a walk-through showroom area open to the general public with free admission (possibly with a pay bar and limited ping pong rentals). This would also let you run several more intimate parties with smaller head counts and larger ticket prices. Absolutely the first thing you should do though is get a head count of possible attendees, like a $25 RSVP deposit refundable as a Wyrmwood gift card if someone ends up not being able to go.

8:49 - My attempt at lip-reading tells me that March 23 is the possible start of Pax East... and yes, I will absolutely want to go for a $100 ticket. Especially if there's oysters to be eaten. lol

If I recognize that neighborhood as well as I think I do, that's a pretty short walk up the road from the convention center! I'll be honest, the tiered tickets suck. Admission for PAX last year was almost $250 for the weekend, not even counting travel and hotels and such. Those prices sound pretty wild to throw on for a few hours of a party and a raffle ticket. Also the pax east dates leaked on another vendor's calendar a month ago. The end of March looking pretty busy.

As an enforcer, I don't go to a lot of pax parties, but id ddefinitely try to make this one.

That clip at the end was a perfect opportunity to place to clip from drake and josh when they are playing ping pong and making ninja noises but also this all looks great

I would absolutely go at the $100 price. The free drinks all night alone is worth it.

I've spent near $100 for just drinks and apps at a beer tasting event. Let alone pingpong, gaming, and table giveaways (I'd advise just to double-check giveaway rules for events if not something you have already done, they get wonky some places). Won't be at Pax-East, still avoiding cons, but if I were I'd already be grabbing a ticket.

If I were going to PAX, I would 100% buy a PVIP ticket if I could get one. Honestly, I'd rather have nice seating to use with my MGT or a Sit-Stand Desk than another MGT or probably even a prophecy. Now I am considering attending PAX just for this party.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!! I love ping pong, and nerdy gaming stuff! It'll suck driving to mass for one night, but it'll be a hell of an experience! AND I COULD WIN A FUCKING GAMING TABLE!!!!!!

So long as the price isn't crazy it should be easy to sell this out. Having a basic and a VIP tier I think is a smart way to get a bit more funding without losing the "big party" vibe that is only obtained by getting a lot of people to go. Giving away the tables is also a cool idea (maybe consider being willing to replace felts if any get spilled on at the party). Some other prize/tier award ideas: If a VIP attendee wins a table let them get priority on selecting which one they want from those available at the party. If a VIP attendee wins a table throw in a set of accessories. You could also sell this separately for all tickets as like a $5 or $10 add on called Accessory Insurance, buy accessory insurance and if you win a table we will throw in a set of accessories to match. Offer workshop tours as a possible prize or just bonus for top tier VIP tickets (they cost you nothing but are definitely something people going to this party would be interested in) Let people there vote on potential future wyrmlife video concepts, for example: A day in the life of (Person), where we follow that person's day from wake up to sleep, and the attendees vote on which member of wyrmlife they want to see the video made for.

It wouldn't be hard to make a wyrmwood magnetic net add on though would it? You could even make paddles

If you're going to have wyrmwood gaming tables replace some of the ping pong tables, I hope you don't mean playing ping pong on the tables. I mean, that's doable, but you can also just open them up and have some groups play actual card/board games which is a little more cool. Also, I would so go to this, but I'm in the West. ; ~;

Quick thought to make it not feasible to buy multiple tix in the hopes of winning a table: only people who show up and present ID are entered in the draws. (Only exception is those who couldn’t make it due to extenuating circumstances and can provide ID that doesn’t match a guest at the event) Or some other such solution to ensure only one set of draw entries per guest.
