Given the fact that "all of the sudden" a bunch of bidders backed out at the last minute and wyrmwood has a stellar reputation with installing *brand new* equipment, I'm looking forward to a ton of wyrmlyfe cnc content.
The really dumb part is, historically what that has come down to from them is: "We had someone come out to set this up, but we weren't prepared for them for when we scheduled them to be here So they couldn't do what we hired them to do. So we just said 'I'm sure its fine' and now it doesn't work"
The team's reaction at the end sounded like Brits at a soccer match! Now, let's all hope it actually works because Wyrmwood doesn't have a great track record when it comes to buying machines!
Never thought a digital auction would be just as exciting as a live one 😂 The excitement on Doug's face whenever he saw something he liked was just as entertaining 😁
If you are either selling or bidding, it might actually be a little more exciting. Because you don't know what's going on there or who the other people bidding are.
Dale going to the same Dunkin where they tried to keep his credit card just because he finds it funny that the person still has a job is absolutely hilarious to me.
Best episode this season thus far (candle making one close 2nd). Interestingly, amazed on how watching people bid for a CNC could be so riveting; fanfare by the Bois at the end is a nice touch!
Gotta love bidding fever. I'm impressed Dale and Doug (D&D?) kept their heads and didn't bid past the limits they set on the "impulse" buys they looked at. Maintaining one's cool in a bidding war is the key to getting what you want at the price you want it. Kudos on the CNC! That was amazing. But; the adventure has JUST begun! Twice as big as the current in-house CNC; does that mean it will take twice as long to get up and running reliably? Stay tuned!
Cristaldi is right! I wake up in the morning by drinking cold water and the only coffees I drink are frappuccinos from Starbucks that I get as desserts or mid afternoon snacks when they do their "Happy Hour" promotions.
Id like to mention I watched this video while drinking my second coffee of the day and going for a refill after the video is done. "I have about 2-3 pots a day... four on a Monday. I've tried to quit but I cant even cut down" - Dave Nelson (Foley), News Radio
Oh, auctions are so fun, especially when you get to bid. But also stressful, especially if you are selling something. I am quite sure it is a very good thing that you didn't take Doug to the live auction.
With $150,000, I would buy my first house and convert most of it and the land to a feline adoption/foster agency. Too many "Kill shelters" here, they are doing their best but space fills faster than adoption and fosters.
I Can’t wait to see the video of them trying to get it into the shop. Getting it all set up and finding out it is broken and they don’t know what’s wrong with it and it takes a month to get it fixed. and at that point would’ve been cheaper to buy a certified refurbished one.
Christaldi drinks more coffee than I do, and honestly I agree with the 'just drink water' sentiment. $150,000? That's equivalent to the loans I took to get my house, with a few grand left for savings. Might get my sitting room redecorated.
I like how the CNC machine has not one, not two, not three, but FOUR American flags on it. Just in case there was any doubt that this is, in fact, an American CNC machine :D
I also am not a coffee fan. Don't have the same reason (a bunch of stuff that tastes good is pointless or even harmful junk) but I just hate how it tastes, and that it can burn me.
I'd spend $150k paying for the time and equipment to launch 'Doug and Dale's Daily Deals' an hour livestreamed event where they bid on a range of increasingly obscure auctions.
National geographic actually did a study a few years ago that showed people who drink 3 cups of coffee per day live 15% longer than people who drink 0 to 1 cups a day.
The end of the bid happened and I was like "well that was entertaining" and then immediately started head banging uncontrollably because Machine Head was on in the car wtfff
Oh Christaldi - if you don't like coffee just say you don't like it - Plain coffee contains a small amount of micronutrients, including vitamins and minerals. A single serving has 118mg potassium, 7.2mg magnesium, 7.1mg of phosphorus, 0.1mg of manganese, 4.7mcg of folate, 6.2mg of choline, and 4.8mg sodium - totaaaallly has nutrients.
I don't drink coffee simply because I don't like hot drinks. I don't drink tea or cocoa either. My caffeine intake for years was via soda but I've now switched to water mix-ins that contain caffeine.
@@dingojohnsonn5056 $90,000 for 2,200 Sq ft bungalow plus full basement and 1/4 acre fully fenced in with a 20x20 outbuilding and a pool. $30,000 for student loans. $10,000 for car. Then $20,000 leftover for prophecy. To be fair the house was older and needed a little bit of work but I'm a handy guy and can do just about everything trade-wise to a competent degree. But even if you figure in the money i put into it I'dstill have probably $12,000 for a prophecy.
