Hi friends! In today’s video I have a Wantable Style Edit to share with you.
If you aren’t familiar with Wantable it is an online styling service that you can either schedule regular boxes or just order a box whenever you feel like it! You fill out an online profile of your sizes and likes/dislikes etc. pay a $20 styling fee(which will be credited back to you if you purchase anything from the box). With Wantable you can choose between their Style Edit, Active Edit, Sleep and Body Edit and various specially themed Edits throughout the year. You have 5 days to try the items and shipping is free both ways! They also have this feature called “The Stream”. You scroll through clothing items and you can request or decline items. This helps you stylist to learn your style and they will also try to include items you have requested if they have those items available in your size.

For my sizing: I am 5’9”
I normally prefer size large in tops and sweaters
For pants, I normally take a size 10 and I need a inseam length of 30”-32” for skinny jean styles and for bootcut or straight leg, I prefer a 34” inseam.
For dresses I normally wear a size 12

Hi Tina. I really like the jacket on you. It was very flattering. I also like the wide leg jeans. I too have a flat butt. I try to wear tops that at least cover half of it. Tina, I really appreciate your carefulness in selecting clothing for purchase. You think of things that I wouldn't think of, and it does help me to be a better consumer . The jacket you considered; I thought it was too short on you. Otherwise, it was a good design. I can see why you liked it. Loved the cheerful paisley blouse, and I agree that you probably wouldn't wear it much, just because of the elastic in the sleeves ( which I don't care for either). Loved the color of sage and light mint green on you. It's too bad neither of those pieces didn't work for you. I never had any luck with Wantable personally. I thought they were way too expensive, and I always have issues with the fit of items received. I do get Stitchfix for now, though. Thank you sharing your insightful videos with us.

Hi Tina! It was a so so box, I did like the jacket, it looked cute on you, would sure be pretty with a fuchsia colored shirt but not the one you got in the box! I can’t get into the wide leg jeans, boot cut is as far as I can go and they must be long enough☺️ hope your Sunday is great, it is snowing here in ND🥰

With styling boxes, if you don’t immediately love it, send it back😊 I think you would get good use out of the blue jacket. My Wantable box is ready for pickup tomorrow, and I got 3 great summer tops but sending the other 4 items back including a pair of wide leg jeans. Being over 50 I don’t find the wide leg flattering to my figure, however the younger family members look really cute in them. At this stage in life I’m trying to stay away from trendy items that will go out of style soon, and concentrate on clothing that I really love wearing. Hope your test goes well!

I am hoping that after taking a break, I will start finding some things I love again. A couple of years ago, they were my favorite! I so agree about seeing the young women in the wide leg jeans and they look adorable! But just like you, I am trying to stick to classic pieces that I can wear and enjoy for a long time. Love your chatty videos! I don't like the smocking waist tops because when you raise your arms, they ride up and you are constantly tugging them back up. I thought the jeans were cute. Love the color of the lime pants. I think the orange top is cute, but agree the style isn't very flattering. Fun to see your box even though it was a bust.

You're never too chatty Tina! I always enjoy what you talk about. At first glance I thought this box would be pretty good, but thank goodness you got the super cute box of clothing from Quince. LOL. I'm one of the people who actually like the wide-leg style jeans as I feel like they balance out my proportions. I liked them on you too, but if you won't reach for them then definitely a no. No on the olive top too as I don't like the smocking on you (or anyone under 30 actually!). I did like the navy jacket on you though...very cute but I understand why you decided to send it back. I love the color of the orangey-red paisley top but I feel like it's too old-ladyish on you (and you're not an old lady!) I hope your heart monitor results come back a-okay (I've worn a holter monitor several times...I get it!) Have a good week friend!

Hi Sallie! You would be one of the women I see in the wide leg pants and think you look great! You have a tiny waist and I think that is what you need to look great in them. I certainly do not want to look "old ladyish!" Lol! But something about that color, I just loved! I am sure my ticker will be just fine! The first jeans, I think the legs and length were nice, but agree the pocket placement and cut of the rear wasn't flattering. Jeans and bras...the most dreaded items to shop for! LOL

Hi Tina! I love your chatty intros! I've paused Wantable and refuse to order any more special edits. My last few have missed the mark by a mile! I find they don't listen to feedback and their pieces are over priced and often of poor quality. Sale pieces are on sale for a reason lol. I just bought a caslon jacket from Nordstrom on sale for $39 that is very similar to the jacket in your box. Comes in Navy and green.

I paused my Wantable boxes about 5 months ago. Just wasn't excited about what I've been seeing on the Stream. I feel the same way you do about the wide legged jeans. I feel like they make me look like a boxy rectangle.🙁 The navy jacket was cute, but looked too short on you. Don't think I'd keep anything from the box. I do like that they are sending a preview though. Hope everything turns out with your heart monitoring.❤

I wish the wide leg jeans would go away. I'm also a member of the flat butt club. I'm not a fan of smocking on the bottom of the blouse. The powder blue cardigan looks so pretty. Even my gastroenterology told me that I have a Flay butt. I wasn't the patient at the time, Bruce was. And my gastro has been my dr/friend for 35 yrs! I yelled at him, LOL. Wide leg jeans make many women look like a fat column because they start at the hips and go straight down to the floor, there is no shape. Nothing in the box look like a keeper. I am sad that the Wantable boxes have not contained anything to keep. Waiting for the first box since last Fall, I do not have a subscription.

Hi Tina, I watched your video about your red light therapy, and had a question for you, so thought I’d post here on your most recent video. When you tried the MITO 300, and you mentioned couldn’t go without the protective eyewear. Were the LED’s too bright even with your eyes closed ? I ordered the MITO 300, but haven’t received it yet. That was my only concern, and I want to be able to treat my eye area, but I’ll only be using the red light setting and not the NIR. I’m having second thoughts about it now. I was using the Current Body mask, but couldn’t stay consistent with it, so thought a panel would be super easy. Your results with the Maysama panel have been really good, and I was considering it, but ended up settling on the MITO. Hope you see this, and thanks in advance for your response. ☺️

Hi Debbie! So to answer your question on the Mito panel. I could NOT use it without goggles. I tried many times to use it just closing my eyes - I just couldn't do it! But I do have extremely sensitive eyes, so you may be just fine. From the comments on many of my red light videos, many people can treat with the Mito panels just closing their eyes, so I am hoping you won't have any problems doing that either. Because it really is a great panel! I hope this answered your question.

Hi Robin. I saw Carolyn from Carolyn And Her Clothes say that she got a preview from Wantable a few months ago on one of her videos. I was excited to hear this and so I ordered an edit. No preview! Ordered another edit, no preview again! So I was shocked when I got one with this box! I have no idea how they are only offering this to some people some of the time🤷🏼‍♀️

The blue cardigan would look great with a pair of slimming, white jeans and white T-shirt. Everything else was just "M'eh." I understand and completely appreciate your desire for casual style, but you are way too pretty for the style of clothing you are trying on. The white blouse you are wearing is perfect and beautiful on you and highlights your looks; all the other items drag you down.

It was good to hear that you like the shirt I own and love, as compared to everything I returned from this box. I will most likely try Wantable again sometime in the future, but right now, I think it's a good idea to pause. Have a good one!
