Let's be honest... If this game launched on the Dreamcast it would be considered a classic and physical copies today would be $1000 sealed.

This game is actually okay . . I would love to see them refine this in a sequel but it's very okay to play .not the best but def not the worst either .it def fun

Definitely wait for sale or eventual sub service drop. Shame it's not as good as it could be. When I first heard of this game it had a lot of things that appeal to me. Too bad those ideas don't come together like they hoped.

you articulated into words what I felt about the game. agree some of the skill tree should be available from the start as the main character is supposed to be some sort of super cop. and yes the game offers you an olive branch.. only to beat you up with it. Neko Chan mode is so tempting but the game is gaslighting me saying it's not that hard.. you just have to be better.. while I die for the 15th time.

Johnny must do voiceovers for other RU-vid channels because I know this voice. I swear this voice is just as iconic to me as the Honest Game Trailers guy. I just found this channel and subscribed, so maybe it’s just me, but this channel seems to have criminally low views and subscribers. Anyways, very entertaining and informative…as any good gaming RU-vid channel should be!

I will say that the purposefully amateurish voice acting done by the devs themselves, the awkwardly lip-synched cut-scenes and self-aware goofy dialogue was all deliberately added to further fully encapsulate that PS2 era in everyway possible and some might not enjoy those parts since they are I guess bad things about the era most other devs would not include, but I truly appreciate Wanted: Dead for being the most accurate representation of a PS2 game in the modern day even capturing the sides of the era a lot of people forget about.

the moment the dude mentioned SOULSTICE and EVIL WEST, i knew this guy is legit, if GUN GRAVE : GORE got a spot then it would be better, and yes, all these 4 games are on my personal favorite list and i adore them all.

Had been looking forward to this, tho gameplay wise it almost feels like there is a bit of polish missing Definitely waiting for a sale, as almost every game in the last few months/years go in a fat sale a month after release. Just last year the deluxe editions of cod, NBA2K and Gotham knights all dropped to $40

I’ll admit when I first started playing on keyboard and mouse ,it had me thinking I made a mistake buying this game. Once I switched to controller I really started to enjoy it. reminds me of God hand and it’s difficulty.

Game has potential but now it is 30€ max or pass.

I'm from germany and to sing 99 Luftballons in karaoke was the most random shit i ever encountered. But you need to be an android to hit those buttons perfect, it's harder than the hole game 😂 I got it cause i just love action games, but 60 bucks for 4 missions is more scam than every thing else. I like how they wrote ''It's a love letter to next gen" in the description, cause it's a love letter to f everything except the next gen 🤣 game is ugly, clunky and short but i have the fun of my life. We need more of those game but for god sake learn from this, make it better next time ✌️

I thought it was a good game. I don't mind throwback games. I play boomer shooters after all. Turn based combat is pretty retro too, yet no-one minds Baldur's Gate 3. I'm actually a big fan of games that are a little "off" and janky, such as the Stalker series. the Sacred series, and the Gothic/Risen/Elex series. They are generally janky, imperfect, but made by people with good intentions. Somehow that's appeals to me more than the AAA generic crap.

funny game... i really enjoy it from yesterday... but...the problem is not that the game is a old school type game... the probleme is that you can make an old school game without the problems of old games..... the camera is not the worst.. the worst is the shooting... i mean we are in 2023 not in 2003 even mass effect 1 original version is better... even uncharted on ps3 had better shooting system. and the worst is that even you shoot the enemy with riffle you need 20 bullets to kill them that s stupid.... and painfull. so only use katana and grenade. even it s a game, even it s old school stuff... when you do a headshot you dont expect to shoot the head 3 or 4 more times to kill an enemy .... after the precision of rifle is just a mess. ok we can be indulgent and say that it s the gameplay or this type of gameplay.... but the main problem for me it s that it s a japnese game and the japanese video game industries still stuck in 2013 .... graphically(sorry but for a next /current gen its ok but thats it....and they used unreal engin) , about gameplay or idea.... what did japanese provided for the last decades ? mario, zelda, ryu ga gotoku.... nice it s game from famicom or ps2 remasterd or remaked indefinitely.... final fantasy ? dragon quest same problems.... ghostwire boring, from software graphically not that good...even elden ring... on a 4k tv with a ps5 it s hurt... so the main problem is here... you can do some old style game but it s better if you do it with modern technique.. for exemple for me sifu is an old school game style but they modernized it..... why in japan we are unable to do it..(ok i know the answer) except that the game is funny.... have a good challenge and not that bad gameplay but should definitely be better.

The game has terrible reviews. If some like the game that's fine but what stops me from buying it is hearing how poorly the voice acting is on top of mindless AI standing around waiting to get killed. you could play TMNT on Nintendo and have a better experience than buying this 60$ game that keeps crashing on PC. I don't respect games that are here just to grab the money. I'll stick with IGN rating 4

60€ for this? Hogwarts Legacy cost 60€. Feel the difference.

Needs a sequel

Naaah. I definitely wouldn't say it is good. It is a very average game with terrible checkpoints and random difficulty spikes. A lot like most PS3/Xbox 360 middle of the lifecycle games. And at $60 I'm assuming it is going to bomb. Very badly.

After watching reviewers comepletely shitting on this game. I decided to get it on sale yesterday and i can say i like this game alot. The executions look awesome and it reminds me of a souls game mixed with ninja gaiden. hopefully it sold enough to get a sequel and refine the game some more.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! I just paid over $30 for this garbage on Playstation website, and it was on sale too. I played it for 3 hours, and it was a biggest disappointment. I deleted the game. The graphics looked SO horrible, and It felt like an unpolished EARLY PS 2 game. The game play was a joke. The movement wasn't even smooth like it was protrayed in the "GAME TRAILER!!" It felt very low quality and somewhat jerky. The aiming for the machine gun was horrible because I couldn't even see the reticle, and It took me several seconds just to locate it during a gun battle. The was NO map available, and I had to locate the boss by running around the entire location. The enemies took forever to die even with a machine gun! The developer stuffed the game with bunch of boring and slow cut scenes in order to fill up the game!! I felt like the developer was trying to make a "QUICK CASH GRAB" by producing a poor quality product with misleading game trailer and marketing!! In my opinion, this particualr game was made wtih very low budget and a sloppy development team. The company use terms like "Developed by Ex Ninja Gaiden Development Team" in order to embellish this crappy product. So sick of game trailer trying to mislead consumers, and they have the audacity to charge over $50 for this product. DO NO TBUY THIS GAME. STAY AWAY FROM IT. I wouldn't pay over $5 for this.
