Hey GQ!! Love the videos and the reviews, I can't afford to get customs but want you to know that there needs to be more folks like you and Steven in the hobby/community.. thanks again for all you do and May The Force Be With You my friend!!
Once again, Steven has knocked it out of the park with his talents. I can say from personal experience that Steven puts attention to detail in everything he makes. His customs are some of the best I have seen.
I couldn't agree more, Brent! Steven is truly an artist!! I feel very lucky to be able to connect with him. It's a pleasure to open his stuff and share with the channel. I can't wait to see what he comes out with next!
This community is a lot kinder in many ways than the vintage collector community. I have started buying and making my own customs due to your channel. Good on you and your followers, keep up the good work.
The vintage community as a whole is extremely narrow minded and elitist. I’ve met many great people but there is a lot more drama in it than the custom community. I’m very excited for you. That sounds awesome!!
Great figures man!! I love Keepers work! I love how you guys all help each other out promoting each other. I only wish I had more extra money to buy them all!!! I will just continue to buy here and there in the hopes to have all the customs!!! Love it.
KK does awesome work. Truly stoked that he and I connected. I love showing you guys his creations. Thanks for the kind words. Appreciate you tuning in!
These customs are simply mind-blowing. I collect current Hasbro because I like the more screen accurate look of the figures. I had the Kenner figures as a child and if I was still collecting those these would be a must have. Who wouldn't want these characters to expand your collection? This why I don't understand the gatekeeper mentality. For me Star Wars will always be about being inspired and being creative. That my two cents😊
Most impressive!!! Some real bangers in this lot today. Bespin Luke & the Imperial Officers were amazing, but Aunt Beru & Uncle Owen are off the charts!! Those are amazing custom additions to the collection. Keepers Kustoms knocking it out of the park again. 💥💥💥
Your videos , inspired me to start buying customs from Steven. It has sparked a friendship as well! Great guy ! Awesome customs ! Just got one of his customs In the mail today !! Sweet!! Jedi Temple Toys- May the toys be with you!
So glad that Steve got a commission from someone seeing your videos!! He really does good work, so I'm glad that he's getting some customers now. These custom made figures are real art. The best kind of art too, the kind that collectors can have fun with. Cool that Steve came up with ideas that Kenner never did like the removable hand on Luke. His paint work is fantastic too! So much more detail than Kenner did back in the day, but still in their style so his customs will fit in nicely with other Kenner figures in a diorama or something. The helmet comes off the pilot?!? Wow! Great job on the helmet. Looks just like Red 4. The blaster barrel being chromed is very cool too. Admiral Ozzel is a cool character who deserved his own figure back then. Great job on the moustache and the fine details on the uniform. Amazing what people can do with 3D printers now. That's a very good General Tagge too! He's one of the few generals who realized that the Rebels were a bigger threat than most of the Imperials thought they were. This figure looks a lot like him. The Owen and Beru figures look a whole lot like the actors. Very good work on the heads. Fun letter he sent you too. I see you have some Rebels with their shields down on their helmets. That's very cool!
Steven is a wizard when it comes to customizing Star Wars figures. I always get excited because I never know what he'll come up with next. And I'm more than happy to show his stuff with you all!! I can't recommend his work enough!
Thanks for the shout out, wish it didn't cost money to post overseas but unfortunately it's what Royal Mail Charges 😞for a 9 to 11 day journey abroad (per box not per item!)
This is so so rad. I JUST got into collecting Kenner 2 weeks ago. I was born in 1991. But I feel such a connection to the vintage line. I just can’t describe how fun it is to pick they loose figures at a funky little toy shop. I only have 2 figures so far but no better time to Start then now. Cheers from MN!
That’s awesome! Collecting vintage Kenner Star Wars is the best!! Enjoy your journey! And if you’re new to the channel, welcome! I post new vids every Saturday morning! 🤘🏻
Its awesome seeing your absolute joy when you open these figures! You truly are amazed when seeing them just like when you were a kid. Its a great feeling. Also all the appreciation you show towards the makers and how grateful you are to them!
Cool ozzel figure in the uk the actor was well none for playing nasty teacher mr Bronson so it was a joy to see him get chocked out back in the day though not the same character we still shouted Mr Bronson got chocked out 😂
these are awesome bro i am the one that sent you pictures of my hoth base last week thank you for likening them I am going to go to his page right now and check out his stuff great show buddy have a good one.
When I got more in to collecting SW figs, it kind of bugs me that the X-Wing Luke didnt came with a removable helmet. I have seen other collector who has swapped his head for a Bspin, Jedi or Farm boy Luke, and then Dremel out the head of the helmet. Since I dont dare to do that, and also, in a kind of "autistic" way want to show "respect" for the craftsmanship of these original figures and their appearance, I don't want to "ruin" them, and the work that someone put into modeling these once in a time. Thus, I just (with out a flawless move) put a Han Solo head on the pilot and then gave him a LEGO X-Wing helmet to hold on to instead 😄
You gotta do what makes you happy! Absolutely. Being creative is always a fun thing! 👌🏻 Customizing is an art form and it’s great it’s accessible for everyone.
These figures are amazing. I'm a new subscriber. I instantly subscribed when I saw how much love you have for the same Kenner collection that I have. And I had no idea about these custom figures and now I have to have them for my collection. I remember buying these awesome figures when I was a kid and my dad would take me on a weekly basis to Child world toy store on weekends and told me to either pick out 1 ship or four figures so I would switch it up every other week. Love that Bespin Luke with the removable hand and the blue saber. Great video and awesome channel. Thank you so much for sharing these awesome figures. Have a great day and may the force be with you always.
