Sahi kaha, jin garibo ke paas 500 ya 1000 ke notes the, wo to khrab kar diye. Lekin jinke paas bangla, gaadi, naukar, foreign currency & account, sona chandi gahane, tel ke aur dusre desh ke resources the wo abhi bhi maze kar rahe he, kyuki ban amirro ke assets nahi, garibo ka cash huwa he.

I'm in Bangalore.. everything is peaceful here.. people are helping the vegetable vendors, maids, etc. the grocery stores, corner shops are all helping their regular customers by allowing them to pay later... there is lot of enthusiasm and support among common men.. Anyways the poor rarely deal with 500 and 1000 currencies.

It cannot be denied that there is inconvenience for the very poor but those who do.not have bank account they can open account. and deposit money and get new currency in one visit to the bank. This will force the remaining poor population those who are still not taking advantage of our banking system, will connect to the main stream. During this week people should feed poor people as they may miss daily wages. It should be done collectively.

Where were these opp. leaders when 157 days curfew was there in Srinagar? Just imagine how Srinagar citizens have survived? Its funny its look like ambani, adani, birla, ramdevi, tirupati, shirdi, somnath and their supporters calling money of poor as black money dirty money etc, Bcoz they themselves do not collect money in Indian monetory form, but in other forms. And real black money holders will convert their remaining cash or might have already converted into other forms. It is the poor and lower middle class who suffers, not these rich temples and rich bussiness families & their princes.

Arun jaitley said that they needed plan to replace existing currency as soon as possible becasuse printing crores of rupees in denomination of 100 and 500 was not feasible in short period of time. Also RBI would have suffered losses because it already took govt some 12000 crore rupees to print new currency. May be they will stop printing 2000 rupee note in future.

Some can still distribute it 2.5L each among others and afterwards can get it back. Also there is window of 50 days to deposit it.This is a slight flaw

Don't compare the ban of notes during 1978 to 2016. Earlier bans didn't affected common person and he didn't bather on the issue. But now please note that 500 /1000 notes ban resulted the cheerful on the common person's face.

common people 25% without bank A/c can go to bank with any citizen document an can change the 500 n 1000 ...into new money.I don't think that the common people without bank account would have lakhs of money they would have only 3k to 4k..that can be changed ...n it can be done in 50 days of time....common people may earn 50 to100 less in few days but they can bear it ...n everything will be alright...

Deposit in the bank after standing in line for 5 hours? It's a Shitty situation. Collecting the tax is only one half of a process. Pumping it back into the system is another half. People should be more concerned about the second half instead of going crazy and loosing their minds on the first half.

Narendra Modi is the first leader post independence who has dared to take decisions in the Nation,s interest without bothering about the vote bank politics. This decision is going to be creating difficulties for every citizen four next few days but ultimately lead to a comparatively corruption free country. It is the great maturity of every Indian citizen that they have boldly agreed to face the difficulties in nation,s interest and the only people who are shouting or protesting are the politicians who are having huge dirty money earned through corrupt practices. It is an open fact that the policies formulated by Jawaharlal Nehru was responsible for creating a. Parallel economy the beneficiaries of which were Politicians, Bureaucrats, Govt Employees and corrupt Contractors and Business houses close to the rulers. This nexus has played havoc with the country. Hats off to Modi for hitting at the root of this clique.

sorry gentleman don't use the name of common and poor people name for your dirty and cheap politics first thing and don't show your sympathy to us we how much sympathy do have for us. for god seek stop doing this Rabbi's enough is enough since independence u all r tocking for poor and common man but fail to do any thing at ground zero. and at last but not the least we don't have any problem and if we will face it also than its not a big already u r facing n no. of problem understocked so .u just bother about your self and if we had to face some temporary inconvenient we r ready to do so for this country....shame on.. thanx to arnav for your bold and real journalism.

The leaders like Pawan Verma are distributing a fear among the people is worthless and it is merely a poor politics or nothing. We ready to afford some inconvenience for saving our country.. We appreciate to our P.M. for taking historical step to finish Black Money in the country.
