Doesn’t matter if I win or lose a dogfight, as long as it’s legit I’m happy :) (Usually when it’s actually legit I mostly win 😅) (And by legit I mean that it isn’t 1v5 but a real 1v1)
@@wateredmilk6089 hmmm, that would be fun, 4.3? (Bf109). I’ll then use my Pörremyrsky as i don’t have a German one but Thierry basically the same thing
Dude these dogfights are amazing, and absolutely outstanding to watch. I only have around 50 hours in game, a bit more than half being in planes, but I don’t play air rb, planning on getting more into that though
You should definitely get I to air rb! It's a bit daunting at first but its super fun. If you ever wanna squad and play a few rounds so I can teach you a few things I'm always open to that
@@wateredmilk6089 I’ve started getting into it, I’m about 20 battles in, I’ve been doing roughly 2.3 to 3.0 br, and honestly, I can’t see myself going back to arcade, i have about 150 hours in game now lol
@@denisdenak we do but our enemies also know how to do this so the deciding factor of a dog fight is how much someone knows about both planes and positioning
@@ahtheh Rarely, 99% of players have no clue what they're doing. And even when you meet the one who does, the deciding factor is usually who spent the most time playing recently (who's better at aiming and general dexterity).
Haha, that p51h could have easily stomped me. I think it confused him on how I was able to cut into his turn, the only reason why I was able to was because I was so damaged; it made me have a worse MER so I could pull lead easier. Similar to how a spitfires seem to turn so much better than their actual turn time.
@@wateredmilk6089 yeah, your a really good pilot, I got both spitfire, Bf109 and P-51, all I can say is "the best way to defeat your enemy is to be your enemy" Im still bad in the P-51, its hard to get adapted into it since its a strange mix beetween turn fight and energy fight, sometimes I even out turn 109's but in other moments I'm easly destroyed by a P-47
Since bf 109 got long flap extension time(20 sec for full landing flaps), when should I bother using flaps? It is shown in the video of you barely using flaps and you do fine anyway
@@Ash-yl3zc basically, the f1 is super... and I mean super good. It has the best vertical retention at its br, and is a decent turner. Utilize its speed and make sure you turn with energy, not solely with turn. A slow bf109 f1, cannot pull much lead, but fast it's a hell of a good turner.
