Adam I know you hate bombers, but I reccomend checking out sea mines on stuff like the PBY 5 or the mariner, and tell us what you think. I dont enjoy playing bombers, but sea mines are ridiculously broken

Joe learning is so inspiring- at least he has you because I was lost as fuck when I first started and got shot out of the sky constantly. Now I still get shot out of the sky, but I like know why
Something important to note with the hurricane is that you can use the rudder to massively boost the roll at lower speeds, really helps when trying to shake off people's aim just before trying for a reversal, and helps a ton in stall fights. Nobody expects the plane that rolls like a brick at low speeds in a vertical spiral to near-instantly do a 180, turn into them and mince them with 12 .303s.

Videos of you teaching Joe are great. It really forces you to think like a noob to try and teach well. Watching him try and learn reminds me of when I started playing.

that he 100 was criminal, if he'd done a hard g turn at that speed he could have gotten back on you quickly without running the risk of ripping his own wings off, and hsoudl have peeled to come about for a second run using the high g turn a couple seconds earlier! You're really good at that hurricane, and honestly i don't think i could reliably slap you out of the sky, but he had the opportunity to do it!
I get roasting someone to encourage them to play better, I do it too for sure, but it seems like you didn't give joe the tools to succeed. Basics like run away/dive from slower planes, gain distance then climb to attitude to engage again with energy advantage should have been explained by you before the engagement imo. Your the best war thunder pilot I know man, you just seemed a little passive in the teacher role this game. Keep up the amazing videos!

This reminds me of a friend who got the F-11, I rounded up a group of 3 and we all just try to teach him. Though it's more like the half blind leading the blind.
I run tracers on this plane and 600m convergence but I've shot up to 1.6km away and got the hit and kill. The 7.7mm x12 is just devastating two burst and you're done even in uptierd situations this plane is just a beasty brit!
Breda 88's are actually a little dangerous to ignore, quite easy to handle and 3x12.7mm in the nose. Only Italian 50's though, won't do much unless you're caught off guard. Edit: after crying bitter tears about the Sunderland that snapped it's wings, that thing is actually a mean fighter and I'd love to see you fly it.
Every time I tried to teach someone how to fly a energy fighters like mustang and p38, they never listen to my advice and die so fast, end up me 1 vs 12 the whole enemy team. You know, allied teammates almost never have a Brian.

This thing is the best hurricane. The most horsepower (excluding the Mk IV but i don't like it, i want the one armed with 12 MGs not the damn ground attack version). Basically the same performance as the Sea Hurricane Mk IC but for some reason that one overheats like CRAZY
One of the first planes I learned air RB in. Along with the P-40E. Preferred hurricanes over the early spits for some reason... But I wonder though, the first Sea Hurricane sits right at 2.0 while the first hurricane sits at 2.3 or 2.7...

Ah oui, le seul Hurricane qui vaut le temps d'être joué, un de mes avions préférés en low tier. En deux mots : 12 mitrailleuses ! Juste ce point suffit à me donner envie de l'utiliser à ce BR. Et puis, à part quand je suis uptier, je me sens toujours moins sale de jouer ce Hurricane que de jouer les premiers Spitfires ^^ Je prends souvent 30 minutes de fuel parce que je me retrouve très souvent à carry mon équipe et il n’y a rien de pire que de perdre l'initiative et mon altitude parce qu'il faut que j'aille ravitailler (sauf dans les avions avec peu de munitions puisqu'il faudra que je retourne à l'AF pour les munitions de toute façon). En low tier, par contre, les parties sont assez courtes donc 20 minutes suffisent amplement. Merci beaucoup pour la vitesse ascensionnelle optimale, la spreadsheet que j'utilisais jusqu'à maintenant à l'air d'être obsolète (celle de The_Kiwi) et j'avais pas envie de faire les tests par moi-même ^^ C'est assez important à savoir en Air RB. 2:55 et en plus de cela vous n'avez pas vraiment side-climb donc forcément ce genre de situation allait se produire face à ces attackers et leur spawn aérien ... Vu l'avion que vous utilisez si tu voulais les faire engager l'ennemi de manière sûre tu aurais peut-être dû leur demander de side-climb de leur côté pendant que tu te chargeais de bait les attackers, non ? Et effectivement un head-on aurait été un kill gratuit avec 12 mitrailleuses, c'est risqué mais en même temps abattre un adversaire avec une meilleure maniabilité et l'avantage d'énergie de cette manière est définitivement une victoire tactique ^^ 3:40 ou plutôt "... puisque cet avion devrait être à un BR de 2,7 minimum." 4:05 "All you have to do is live" meilleur conseil à donner. Quand on débute, essayer d'atteindre cet objectif est plus que suffisant ^^ Et avoir un allié plus ou moins efficace à ses côtés est toujours utile de toute façon. Ce jeu est un pur j'eu d'équipe, l'avantage du nombre est décisif (même si relatif aux compétences et décisions des joueurs évidement). 4:30 manque d’expérience j'imagine mais Zlayer aurait dû se diriger vers toi le plus vite possible (pour justement ne pas être coincé dans un dogfight qu'il ne peut gagner). 5:50 c'est aussi ce qui fait que bien voler est plus important que bien viser à ce tier et c'est la principale raison qui rend le low tier intéressant je trouve (comparé au tier 4 et plus). D'un autre côté, les early design et la faible puissance des moteurs fait qu'on perd rapidement de l’énergie à la moindre manœuvre et donc donne un avantage certains aux avions les plus maniables. Du coup ça peut être plus dur de s’enfuir dans certaines situations. 7:05 ouais s’ils sont toujours en vie ^^ C’est assez important de le souligner. L’avantage d’être rapide est de pouvoir s’enfuir quand on veut et le fait que ses adversaires auront, eux, du mal à s’enfuir face à nous. L’autre avantage est que si on est rapide on peut plus rapidement être au bon endroit au bon moment, ce qui est particulièrement utile dans les combats en équipes (quand on doit aller aider ses alliés ou bait un adversaire vers ses alliés). 7:50 on ne peut pas apprendre sans connaître et reconnaître ses points faibles (pour ensuite travailler dessus) donc ouais ^^ Honnêtement, pour les bases de "l’energy fighting" connaître ses cours de physique de lycée suffit en général. :V Le pauvre He 51 à la fin : c’était classe mais inutilement risqué, effectivement ^^
L'armament est en effet un des points les plus forts de cet avion. Fait plaisir! Je ne m'attendais pas au fait qu'il y aurait autant d'attackers. Et puis c'est un max downtier donc on grimpe mieux que la plupart de leur équipe. He100 à 2.7 serait pire que le F4U1A et le Typhoon au même BR cependant. It's a numbers game en effet. C'est pour ça que les avions inutiles causent plein de tort dans l'équipe. Il n'avait pas tant le choix, le He100 allait l'attraper peu importe ce qu'il fait. Il aurait pu nous donner plus de temps avant le combat potentiellement. C'est un peu trop long pour certains avions (Japon) à bas BR pour détruire une cible haha. Exact! Haha le roasting c'était plutôt une blague, mais ouais on apprend de nos erreurs. He51 dogfight c'était pour les viewers ;).
@@AdamTheEnginerd Le système d'équilibrage de Gaijin est assez limité avec leur BR à 3 crans* (1.0, 1.3 et 1.7 puis on recommence +1) donc c'est assez dur d'avoir des avions avec exactement les mêmes performances. En fait il n'y a qu'un seul paramètre d'équilibrage vu que les tier ne compte pas. En l’occurrence, le 1er Corsair n'a rien à foutre en 2,7 et devrait rapidement passer en 3,3 (comme la version USMC qui, elle, est au bon BR. Why Gaijin ?!) et le 1er Typhoon n'est pas plus rapide que le He 100 et a un moins bon taux de monté. (En fait, le He 100 est carrément plus rapide qu'un Bf 109 F-4 à toutes altitudes !) L'armement limité du He 100 est donc une bonne contrepartie je trouve (en plus je pense qu'il doit être plus agile que le Typhoon, je n’ai jamais fait le test). Personnellement, si je devrais jouer en 2,7 et que ces deux avions étaient au même BR, j'utiliserais le He 100 plutôt que le Typhoon, sans trop d'hésitation. Après, Van Sinn avait fait une vidéo là-dessus (mais il semblerait que sa chaîne n'existe plus ?), si Gaijin nous mettait en jeu le vrai He 100 D-1 à la place de celui qu'on a, ce serait encore mieux et il pourrait monter vers un BR 3,0. 4:30 c'est pas le but, en faisant cela Zlayer aurait au moins forcé ses poursuivants à faire un head-on avec toi. Toujours mieux que rien. *à l'origine ils avaient dit qu’ils en feraient un à 10 crans avec 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 etc. ce qui aurait été bien plus adaptatif mais bien moins impressionnants au niveau des nombres : on aurait eu un BR allant seulement de 1.0 à 3.0 environ au lieu 1.0 à 10.0 (les grands nombres donnent un plus grand sens de progression). Avec le système d'origine ils auraient pu encore plus simplement étendre la gamme des BR et éviter la compression des BR (ce qui est inévitable lorsqu'on ne fait que rajouter des véhicules mise-à-jour après mise-à-jour). Le matchmaking random avec ce système de BR est efficace mais seulement s'il y a assez de joueurs au BR auquel tu veux jouer (ce qui n'est pas visible malheureusement) car sinon tu ne joues qu'avec les joueurs qu'il y a ... et tant pis s'ils sont max uptier ou downtier. (C'est aussi pour cette raison que je préférerais jouer en EC historique)
Le He100 est seulement 4km/h plus rapide que le Typhoon au niveau de la mer. De plus le Typhoon a un armement bien meilleur et je dirais qu'il a l'avantage sur le He100 dans un dogfight. Je choisirais Typhoon plutôt que He100 s'ils étaient le même BR. Hmm je n'aurais pas préféré qu'il me lance un headon juste après que je détruise le Ju87. Ce qu'il a fait était correct. Ça c'est beaucoup de crans haha. 0.3 c'est pas tant intuitif en effet.
@@AdamTheEnginerd Ouais mais plus rapide à toutes les autres altitudes + meilleur taux de monté que le Typhoon, le choix est vite fais pour moi ^^ Des 3 points principaux, l'armement est pour moi c'est le moins important, d'autant que 3x mg 17 sont largement suffisantes pour se débarrasser de la plupart des ennemis même en 2.7 Faudrait que je teste pour le dogfight mais honnêtement ça n'a pas d'importance vu que le but n'est pas que le He 100 soit le meilleur, l'avion le plus compétitif à son BR, simplement d''équilibrer le jeu :V 2.3 me paraît quand même trop bas BR pour cet avion et en pratique une différence de 0.3 ou 0.4 ne change rien pour le matchmaking : il fera quand même face à du 2.7 assez souvent. Aussi le vrai He 100 D-1 a un système de refroidissement normal et un canon MG 151/FF de 20 mm dans le nez il aurait donc peut-être été plus approprié pour du 2.7 Mais tu as fait un head-on avec le Breda 88 juste après que tu détruises le Ju87 de toute façon ^^ Donc ça revient au même, non ? Le timing aurait été le même à peut-être 3 secondes près. Je parle de s'il avait commencé à tourner à 4:30 vu que c'est à ce moment où ils lui mettent vraiment la pression (ça devait être visible sur le radar).

On your Sea Level speed chart, the 109 K4 is listed at a 5.3 BR while it should be 5.7. Just a little typo but i thought id let you know so someone else doesnt go apeshit about it for no reason

I know your feelings on bombers, but I'd hesitate to call a stronkland (sunderland) useless! I've gotten quite a few aces in it as the firepower on the MkV especially is simply overwhelming at that tier, the number of defensive guns at almost any angle often beats the number of offensive ones of most planes at the br.
AdamTheEnginerd Sunderland mkV- defensive guns are 2 .50 cals, 10 7.7mms and 4 offensive 7.7s all at 2.0. I take it out by spawning at airfield, jettisoning the bombs and gunshipping. You honestly get more deaths from aa due to airfield campers or team killers who kill you at takeoff than enemy planes.
Yeah, "gunship" bombers are more useful than most other bombers but the problem with bombers is more the fact that they're slow rather than the fact that they struggle to get kills. You're slow and have a hard time building energy which means capable fighter pilots will always have the initiative. The main issue is that it's harder to help an ally fighter while in a bomber, it's way easier to do teamwork in a fighter (in those situations you will always be less effective in a bomber compare to if you were in a fighter). That said, well armed bombers are great at that tier indeed, especially against turnfighters that have low ammo and are less prone to use speed to their advantage. And most players at that tier are easily baited at low altitude :O
I've just started playing air rb recently, and how do you add like the damaged module of the enemy in the bottom right corner, is it in the controls or option?
I've never played a plane with a bunch of Brit 7.7mms as the primary armament (I used the premium Corsair), and I don't know if things have changed, but aren't stealth belts "just better" than universal like people always say?

Adam. 12 7.7s at low tier. Are you sure it's legal for you to play this plane? I'm a decent player and I've gotten a 2:1 KD in it. I've even had a 7 kill game. Also, I really appreciate the climb IAS inclusion for future videos. Finally, any belt other than tracers for Brit 7.7s? Sacrilege. Edit: "Breda 88 is an attcker" Anything's a fighter with the right attitude. It's good for rushing enemy aircraft at the start and doing headons before dragging them to the deck.
