What I like about the British is that it requires skill and patience to start with cruddy Fury/Nimrod planes. But once you get past those, it's completely worth it because Britain has some badass planes.

On one of the First Bombing Raids on London My dad back from a convoy Saw the Germans coming over in a massive black Cloud and saw the bombs dropping. He said he saw a single British fighter on its own attack 100+ Headed right for them head on no deviation or hesitation. He was ripped apart by the bombers defensive guns. Never stood a chance and the guy must have known he was going to die that but he still went in. My father and his brother cried when they saw that.

I absolutely love the recording of Churchill's speech regarding the Battle of Britain. It was probably the proudest moment in the UK's history, and it really brings up emotions thinking about how scared the English were, but how bravely they fought off the repeated aerial attacks. If it hadn't been for that British conviction, we would have lost the war.

Should name it British Empire and Commonwealth, and add in classes for Canadian, Australian and other Dominions Thumbs up if you Agree

Such an amazing air force. Defended Britain from the luftwaffe, highly contributed to the Mediterranean campaign, fought against the Japanese in the Pacific, bombed Germany with our American friends and massively helped the ground forces reach Berlin from the 6th June

I can't belive after all tge adverts I have seen about this game I am finally playing it and I can't belive how awesome this game is, but most of all...I play from a small island and no game that I know of EVER had little Malta anywhere, I am legit proud and very honoured that not only I can play defending my island against Italians BUT We where actually names at the start of this trailer, just 8 or 10seconds in. Thank you war thunder and the team 😢💓

I just read about a Luftwaffe pilot who escorted a damaged B-17 back to base. Still considered one of the most honorable things done in war time. I'm on your side.

To me, the British will always rule the skies.

They did have their own airforce during the war, but it consisted of licence-built British aircraft. Canadians preferred to stick to tank development. After the war, however, an Anglo-Canadian aircraft was designed exclusively for the Royal Canadian Air Force called the Avro-Canada Canuck and was introduced in 1952.
