They said ( 9:27 ) "the U.S.A. were the true pioneers" and not that they were the first. And they were right. While the firtz-x was simply a bomb which had to be controlled by the bomberdier meaning that the bomber had the risk of getting shot down by AA fire. Meanwhile the U.S. ASM-N-2 radar guided glide bomb was truely ahead of its time. It was a anti ship glide bomb with a 1000kg warhead which had a small yet extremely powerfull radar mounted in the nose. And now comes the crazy part. The radar could lock on to a ship! The bomb would then be dropped multiple kilometers away from its target and the radar would guide the glide bomb to the ship and correct its course in case the ship was moving. Meanwhile the aircraft which dropped it could return to base as soon as the glide bomb was released. It was basicly the first fire and forget "missle" in the world.

@@krisanludwiczak6377 the V1 literaly had no guidence system whatsoever. It just had a regular auto pilot which was old technology even for world war 2 and then it was simply aimed at london and fired. It was given just enough fuel so that it would run out above the city and crash into the city. There was nothing to correct the wind pushing the V1 around but for a target as big as london it did not realy matter. So no the V1 defenetly was defenetly not a guided weapon. The V2 was a little bit more complicated in that it had a computer which controlled the takeoff. However once again when it comes to its guidence it is the same story. A simple compas guided autopilot keept it on rout towards London and once it ran out of fuel the rocket would plummet down towards the city. It is still not a guided weapon and it still doesnt even come close to the advanced systems that were used to automaticaly guide the ASM-N-2 towards its target via radar signal. As to when the ASM-N-2 it came out in 1944 and it still got to see some combat and it actualy sank some japanese ships. Yes the Fritz-X came one year earlyer but that is a completely different thing more compairable to the U.S. AZON bomb which was basicly just a Fritz-X but less of a logistical hazard since it was just a guidence atatchment for a regular U.S. 1000/2000lbs bomb. And yea the AZON came before the Fritz-X. Sadly the German engeneering supiriority myth has taken over so literaly nobody talks about these great achivements by the allies because we cant have supirior allied engeneering can we?

The 2 A-Bombs which were dropped on Japan and therefore spared tens of millions of lives which a naval invasion would have shurely cost since japan was literaly pulling recources from the pacific islands to fortify japan because they wanted to defend the home island? The U.S. bomber offensive which only flew by day in order to avoid hitting civilian targets and instead used their extremely accurate norden bomb sights to pinpoint german railnetworks, factorys, ship yards and so on all at the cost of hundrets of U.S. bombers which were exposed to fighters, and Flak batteries during the day thus causing higher casualtys? Remember it was the british who were bombing german population centers and they were doing it because the germans started all of this with the blitz thereby clearly showing the allies that air war against civilians was something that they did not have a problem with. Expecting the allies to not bomb german citys and thereby putting themselves at a unfair disadvantage which germany (as always) would have exploited is a about as populist of a thought process as your profile. The encouragement of german soldiers to surrender to the western allies which helped both sides since less allied soldiers would die and more european territory would land in the hands of the western allies instead of the soviets? Also in which world were the A bombs forgotten? In which world was the allied bombing campagne forgotten? *In your phantasy world!* Meanwhile in the real world all of this is well rememberd. Only the reasons for why the allies did it are forgotten by populist braindeads like you.

Kosmos gibus here, I'm grinding with the Panter A, Waff, and Tiger E. I have PII but it being uptiered against 8.0 so often is a huge turn-off. 10K left to Leo1, aaah I can't wait.

Submarines can't be implemented at the moment without either being totally broken, or useless. Heavy cruisers can and should be implemented in tier 5 ships, with tier 4 being destroyers and maybe light cruisers.

They thought in add big ships before, like a year ago, and basically they said no, because some reasons but for me, are excuses because gaijin said "the people wont like that thing of shot, silent and "splash, splash"" or take a big ship and do a long way for after be killed by 1 shot" well and other one "Japan, EEUU, Germany…. have a superiority over the USSR" *cough cough* Russian bias *cough* but well, Russia did a Battleship, and successfull cruisers like the Bogatyr but well……..i hope they changed them mind and add them

I'd be cool with that. Despite being the arsenal of democracy, it gets kind of tiresome when every good American vehicle has clones in every tech tree, while we get nothing in return.

Julian Kern the leo 2a4 does not need the dm33. As it is completely fine without it, as the tank is still one of or the best mbts. If the leo had the dm33 it would make the type 90 obsolete in every way, and the only way to get more Japanese tech tree players is to make a worthy grind. And that grind Is for the jm33. Plus, I prefer the dm23 over the jm33, jm33 shrapnel is total ass, dm23 gets the job done 9 times out of 10 anyway.

Duck thats not true. Even the japanese got the DM 33. And they uses the main gun of the Leo 2a4

Uh, DM33 is not in-game. If you're thinking of JM33 as being the same as DM33, it's not. JM33 actually should have better penetration and better ballistics over DM33 since they upgraded it and made it their own.

Kevin W you don’t understand. The 2a4 does not need the dm33 right now. Japan and the type 90 need it (the JM33) because they lack top tier lineups as well as the type 90 lacks good armor compared to the rest of the Mbts in game. The 2a4 performs well even without the dm33 and therefore does not need it. If it did get added, the 2a4 will be considered op and get nerfed. If anything the dm33 should be added later when there are tanks like the t80-t90, M1a1, etc

TBO, I would say the Type-90 and the Leo 2A4 should switch amoo's, butthe Type-90 never got something like JM-12 or JM23.

Its not worth buying because you probably spend enough money on War Thunder Plus its in CBT so the naval battles will come out soon the only difference is you wont have the CBT ships (I believe)

Repair costs changes automatically, based on if a vehicle is overperforming or overplayed. If everyone would play the P-26 and get 10 kills each matches with it, its repair cost would increase. Do the opposite and it will decrease. I agree it's not the best way to balance things out.

Yeah i also have my kt all of the variants the tiger 2 (105) is overprice but t-44 can't pen tye tiger 2h from the front, hell even the jagdpanther i can't pen that tank from the front. t44 takes so much skill to play 1 mistake and you lose 10k sl yeah.... in my opinion evey tanks shouldn't cost more than 7k sl to repairs. TBH i don't know about planes:)

Or having it snow on European maps where the seasons vary thus as it snows during a battle, it sticks to the ground and increases in volume (actually that sounds a little complex but if it you can do it that would be amazing)

Gurika you have a point. Nobody wants anymore arcade maps. Every update, War thunder brings in about 5 of them.... we Need more realistic battle maps!

You can customize it. But by default you can do it... Hold down the button for your flaps while in the bomb site... then you've got it.

HeadshotHunt3r I agree with Gizmo here. Dm33 isn’t needed right now. It’s fine without it. Also, the trunnion plate that is supposed to be behind the mantlet isn’t missing. It’s there but with only 50mm of armor instead of the historical value. (I call bs cause it looks bigger than 50mm) I believe a big report was made on the forums and it has been sent to the devs already. Now the matter of whether they look and fix it is another thing

I would be fine with DM23 if it has its correct penetration values.

Patrik Cseresnyés I have a feeling that the dm33 won't be given to the Leo. That is to balance the tank, and to make the less armored Japanese counterpart more viable as it does have the jm33. Making it worth to grind for. If the Leo had dm33, the Japanese leo would be pointless.

Less armored? The Type 90 is better in pretty much every way.

zimms87 sorry, I didn't fact check too well, but the Japanese line does need a reason for people to play. And the better upgrades shell is that reason. Without it, the type 90 would just be a leo2a4. Making it worthless to grind for, especially with the easier and superior german tech tree line

Type 90 is only better on paper.. yeah it has good pen but the sheel has 0 post pen damage, you have to shoot a lot to kill stuff.. The gun moves extremely slowly up and down which makes it awful in close combat, and it only has 3 crew which means it almost always gets one shotted, and it has no armour at all.. the 2a4 actually has some armour

first it needs turret armor fix cause M103 can pen it

Fix its armour and give it its era/composite armour upgrade packs like the 64b

im can live without ERA upgrade if they make armor working cause workign chally armor can deflect many era 6 HEAT FS
