you cant capture the sounds of real weapons because they volume ends up distorting the sounds. unless you use movie quality microphones. which arnt exactly going to be common in a warzone. (footnote: it seems a lot of you misunderstood me. i mean that recording these weapons in real life with average cameras ends in distortion of audio because of the huge range of what a weapon actually sounds like. the games sound effects sound better, because gaijin used high quality mics and audio simulation to get an accurate sound. the real life recordings where not recorded with a sufficiently high enough quality microphone to do them justice)
yes you can, gaijin is more than capable of renting out permission to record the sounds of some tanks when they're performing tests or something, why the hell do you assume all sounds have to be taken from a war zone? testing sites exist where alot of game developers go with permission so they can record high quality real sounds without much disturbance
@@elite4410yeah, but those "real sounds" aren't the real sounds because they, in fact, most likely weren't captured with movie grade microphones. Ofc gaijin would be able to afford the equipment, and I'm sure for some things they did, that's why the in-game sound is most likely more accurate than the "real" sound
@@GhostfromCODW no? use some common sense, of course not every tank can have the 1:1 sounds, that doesn't mean that it's impossible, there's historical vids of older tanks, with enough time they could work on the perfect sound if they cared
this is criminal dawg no way you think war thunder sounds better then the real life counterpart, you're not even getting the right sound from the video bc the microphone cant pick it up well
Totally unrelated but I find it genuinely really interesting that you could see the shell coming out of the irl m109, sure it doesn’t relatively have THAT much muzzle velocity but it’s still a cannon being fired
Have you ever heard an M109A1 fire before? And not from a GoPro video? I guarantee you’d change your answer in this vid if you ever get the chance to see one fire irl, the concussion from that gun firing is nuts
You can't honestly say that a game sounds better than the real thing, because the game is 100% based off the real thing and the developers have gone to great lengths to make the game sound exactly like the real thing.
I mean this is the nicest way possible, wtf is your sfx taste? Every single irl is batter because they are unique, every WT gun sounds nearly identical and are bland in my opinion. Those comparisons are stupid. Every one takes diffrent one as the "better" one.
